Creating a café isn’t just about serving food and drinks—it’s about crafting an experience, and this place absolutely nailed it. This is easily one of the nicest cafés I’ve visited this year. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much thought and effort the owners have poured into making it stand out. The ambience is warm and inviting, with carefully chosen decorations that give the space a personality of its own. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer.
The concept is a refreshing Japanese-Western fusion, and the drink selection alone is proof of the creativity behind it. Their coffee and non-coffee options are anything but ordinary. What’s even more impressive is how the owners have taken inspiration from the local area to create something truly unique. Think bold combinations like coffee infused with coconut milk, along with other daring pairings you wouldn’t find in any typical KL café. It’s brave, innovative, and deserves major applause.
I decided to try their Matcha and Yuzu combo, and it was exceptional. The matcha’s slight bitterness was perfectly balanced by the yuzu’s refreshing citrusy sweetness. It felt like a drink crafted with precision and passion. Outstanding, to say the least. I’ll definitely be back to explore more, especially their meal offerings—if the drinks are this good, I can only imagine what’s in store on...
Read moreWhen we arrived, there were no dining tables available — only low tables meant for drinks. We informed the waitress that we were here for dining and asked if he could let us know when a proper dining table became available. He simply left the menu with us and walked away without much follow-up.
After a short while, we noticed new customers arriving. To our surprise, the waitress immediately seated them at a dining table without informing us first, even though it didn’t seem like they had a reservation.
I tried to get the waitress’s attention but was ignored. Eventually, I had to walk inside and look for an empty dining table myself. When I asked if we could sit there, the waitress appeared confused and disorganized.
Food-wise, it was quite good. My chicken katsu curry rice was delicious, though a few pieces of potato tasted odd. Otherwise, everything was fine.
As for the chicken chop, I found the meat a bit hard and dry, but the mashed potatoes paired with the gravy were fantastic.
One thing to note — the restaurant has a 90-minute time limit, which feels a bit rushed for a place that should be more relaxing and chill.
Overall, food is decent but the service needs serious...

However, my latte was bitter and burned roast wise, and was frankly rather hard to drink. Also, the French toast portions were rather small given the price and tasted rather bland. Unlike most French toasts that come with an accompaniment of syrups, this one didn’t either, which made for a rather underwhelming entrée.
We also had the I Lava You, which was best summed up as a chocolate cake in a drink. This was far more palatable. The other coffee drinks we ordered, such as the marble coffee, suffered the same fate as the latte.
Overall - come for the vibes but not the food.
Quick reply to the cafe’s reply: thanks for taking the time out to reply. I always have my lattes unsweetened, and in all the cafes I visit I always order only the latte as a measurement of coffee. Unfortunately, sugar or not, the brew was unmistakably burnt. Perhaps the temperature or timing can be worked on. As for the french toast - thank you for the explanation, but I must still say that it was rather lacking substance all in all. You may wish to include photos on your menu for reference. Thank you and I wish you...
