Environment is cozy — at least no sweating, and the toilet is bright and not smelly. Only downside is the whole kopitiam has just one tissue stuck on the wall. No service charge, but they do add 6% SST. Remember to pay parking as saman here is very efficient.
I’ve been here twice and tried a few items:
Curry Noodle: slightly thick, taste just normal.
Mee Siam with Prawn Sambal: mild and decent, though people around seem to enjoy it more. However, I did find quite a few sand-like unidentified bits in the sambal, which was unpleasant.
Java Noodle: disappointed as the keropok (which is the soul of mee java) was replaced with a bland crispy beancurd piece; soup is thick but taste is mild.
Kaya Butter Toast (RM4.50): menu highlight but not as addictive compared to Jiak Kopi, Taiping (RM6.50).
Overall, just another commercial kopitiam. Even the signature Kheng White Coffee is from their own 3-in-1 powder (which they also sell here). Nothing too special, but okay if...

The toast, half boiled eggs, nasi lemak, noodles, all really good. Pricing has gone up recently due to our economic crisis, but is still fairly decent. The food is still good enough for me to come back despite the increase in price.
2025 update: Still going strong with huge crowds during rush hour. They've renovated the toilets to be more modern and even updated their menu. Still a personal...
Read moreSummary 3/5: standard Malaysian kopitiam, ok food, drinks need improvement.
Food 3/5: We ordered Emperor Noodle 瓊园帝皇面 and Mee Hun Kueh for lunch. The Emperor Noodle actually was wantan noodles mixed in black sauce and without wantan. It was ok, just a bit too dry. The Mee Hun Kueh is really hand torn, smooth and the soup was ok too. Just that the anchovies was hard and not fresh. Be warned, the chillies are very spicy. The drink was the most disappointing, barley drinks out of stock and the Soya Cendol was tasteless.
Service 3/5: a lot of staff but food serving speed really slow, especially if you are ordering for takeaway.
Atmosphere 3/5: typical kopitiam,...
