"Fine dining" was NOT fine.

Booked and ordered before we came in last night. Their SOP is to start cook only once we came, so we had to wait still..

First dish came in after 20mins, but 6pax was left without food after 50 mins. There was a hick up on our order and food was only served after almost 1 hour of arrival even we did ordered earlier upon reservation.

We also had to ask for cutleries (spoon, knife) for dish that required it, instead of being given along with meal. Quite a basic thing to be missed by a fine dining establishment.

Fortunately the dish was good. They did try to make it up by giving discount on the final price. Would be more appreciated if they counter it by giving something light to eat as the rest of us already starving as its already 9.30 pm at that time.

Front staff should be more attentive. Seeing 6 pax out of 11 w/o foods after others on the same table have finished, should have raised concern.

A what could have been a good dine out experience with family, ruined by lack of service.

Mind you, there's another family at the same time experienced the same problem with us- they had came earlier than us and did not received their orders. The family left - seems like they only received drinks and only one meal.

Overall, this is a very unpleasant experience at a so called fine dining restaurant eventhough they try to compensate it by...

The food was genuinely tasty. I had the Lambo Carbonara (lamb) and really enjoyed it. The Tiramisu was really good too. The plating was beautifully done. The ambience was cosy too, albeit small.

That said, the service experience didn’t quite match the quality of the food. Our reservation wasn’t in the system when we arrived, and we were told it had been taken by someone else who wasn’t even present at the time. That was a rocky start to our experience. We ended up having to seat ourselves and rearrange the tables.

Not trying to nitpick, but the overall experience didn’t quite match the expectations that come with the label “fine dining.” For instance, our salad arrived after the main course, 20 mins later to be exact. In a proper fine dining sequence, courses are timed to flow seamlessly, allowing guests to enjoy each dish without unnecessary pauses. Starters should set the tone, not trail behind.

Additionally, service was slow and one of the servers had a sourpuss face the whole time, which affected the whole vibe.

Just sharing this as constructive feedback, not condemning. Your food and setting are fantastic. With a bit more attention to the customer experience, this place could go far. Looking forward to seeing how things evolve....

This place is lovely.

To start, the atmosphere is exquisite. From the decor to the ambience. It has a very cozy and clean feel.

The food is just as lovely. My party had the Calamari Salad, Butter Chicken Rice, Chicken Grill, Lamb Steak and Carbonara. Calling special attention to the butter chicken, I typically avoid this item when I see it as most places make it poorly. Often times it's too thin, strangely sweet, or lacks butter. But this one was perfect. The thickness of the sauce, the balance of flavours, and the crispy texture of the chicken itself which was cooked perfectly. Of the things we ordered, the carbonara was the weakest link however. The flavour was off and the sauce was too thin.

The mojitos we had were great though pricey. The portion in my opinion wasn't justified. I'd only have them when I feel like splurging on off days.

Service was a bit awkward to begin with but quickly got better. Ultimately though, it's not something I'd complain about.

Final words, this place is fine with some room for improvement. But I'd love to...

Alhamdulillah, i sambut mother's day kat sini and I’m super proud because this fine-dining cafe is owned by our own "Melayu kita"! And damn — the food really hit my tekak weh, sedap gila. Everything sampai panas-panas, and even the pizza that was already sejuk — still lembut! You know what? The juice was just perfect, exactly what I expected. I benci ok bila some cafes serve juice campur cordial or pati — but Lambo Grill betul-betul guna buah! 👌🏻🫦 The salted egg pasta was super creamy, ngam dengan tekak Melayu I yang memang suka kuah basah-basah — bukan jenis kering cukup-cukup rasa je. My mom had the carbonara and she said it was super creamy too, unlike other cafes yang kuah pun macam ada tak ada 🗿. Will include the receipt so you can see what we ordered. And yes, confirm I’ll repeat again — boleh jadi my fav spot HAHAHAHA. Oh and to Wan Sulaiman🫶🏻 — thank you for asking how was the food. That’s exactly the kind of hospitality all cafes should have! Hahahaha

Overall it is an average experience. Going to the specifics based on our order tonight: 1. Tom Yam Khai (the one with santan) - nice 2. Kerabu sotong - average. Small serving for the price 3. Fish and Chips - small portions, fries are frozen, salad tiny portion, conclusion - not recommended. 4. Cordon Bleu - below average not recommended 5. aglio olio seafood - small portion for the price; lack in spices and the aglioness, pasta was beyond Al Dente which is a must for this dish, conclusion - average or boleh la. Drinks - overall average and not memorable - we ordered Berry mojito and Iced Macha Latte. The latter was not good - lack in thickness. Perhaps it can be better on a less busier night like today. The pizza looks good but I can’t comment as we did not order it. A lil pricey though but I think it might be delicious. Please check this place out. They seem to be open to comments and suggestion. This place deserves a second chance from us.
