The food is delicious and fulfilling, the price is reasonable also. I would definitely want to revisit if it wasn't for the poor hygiene.
Problem 1: The only dog there pooped 2 times in the middle of the shop (near our table) while we were eating. This is such an immediate turn-off, to be eating my food in view of dog poop right in front of me on the floor. The third time was when the dog rubbed its behind on the floor, and that was the only time the waiter decided to mop the floor, and the antiseptic smell was so strong, luckily we finished our food by that time, but if we were still eating, we would immediately lose all appetite.
Problem 2: The chef DID NOT wash his hands after petting the dog before preparing our food. This did not happen one time, but multiple times. It should be a common practice to wash your hands before you prepare food not pet a dog!
Problem 3: The dog had repeatedly came over to our table before and while we were eating, it was actually quite a nuisance that it kept loitering around our table even when none of us were interacting with it. The waiter did not take action and prevent the dog from constantly coming over to our table even when our food was served.
Problem 4: When we were fed up with it, we had asked the waitress if she could have the dog kept aside so that it would not disturb us while eating, so she had the dog on a lease by the side. When the chef asked her why the dog was at the side, the waitress reaction was to point at our table with a face that seems to imply that we were ridiculous customer to not want to be bothered while having our meal.
Due to these few problems, our time at the cafe was not at all enjoyable, I was trying to finish my food as fast as possible so I could leave the cafe. I was finding it quite enjoyable at first but sadly it did not went well. Even though the food was very nice, but I would consider eating there again due to the poor hygiene.
PS. I had been to other dog cafes where there were very strict on hygiene and did not leave such a negative...
Read moreMy first time here. Unique concept of 'fur kids' inclusiveness. Not something that those who are not completely comfortable with dogs should go to. Those that are, there are rules for your 'fur kids' to follow to be admitted.
The seating arrangement is also set up to accommodate 'fur kids' interaction with both others as well as their 'hooman'.
Foodie like me, I've got no issues with the above. My party of 5 were looking for something new to try and came across this place. We sampled the burgers that was on the first page of the e-menu andwe all agreed that, the presentation was great, taste was similarly as great as it's look. Pate used was self made, not those frozen stuff. Our recommendation, the Unagi croissant choice. That was probably the best among all the 5 choices.
I must say kudos to the service team. They were very patient, polite and prompt. I guess the management did well in selecting them.
Overall, I'll give a 4 star rating for all the above said. Accessibility would have also have an impact in contributing to my rating, so be prepared to do a bit of walk if you wanna come.
Again, this is based on my experience, yours might be different so do rate it accordingly on...

Plus points: Good deco, that's what attracted us to try it out. Pleasant cafe crew. Ordered carbonara and Mongolian pasta, it was good, the sauce was creamy enough and flavorful. Fried sweet potato had a nice crisp and good portion. The flower tea was aromatic but could serve it in bigger glasses as the tea bag is large.
Could improve: Granted it's a pet cafe, which owner and customers could bring their pet over, would suggest more pet control to prevent them jumping on the chair sniffing out tables and becomes an irritation to the customers. Because I believe not all customers brings their pets over for a meal. The animal naturally loose their furs especially the long hair breed. This I understand because I'm a pet owner myself. But as the fur floats around our food , it cause an unhygienic and unpleseant experience to the diner. There needs to be some form of mitigation or house rules like pets wearing a shirt over to cover most of its fur, which would look fashionable at the same time for its owner. That's my gripe for our first visit to this cafe. If some form of improvements can be seen, it would definitely warrant a...
