Fuga Tei 風雅亭 (Japanese Shabu-Shabu Buffet) — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

I’ve been a long-time customer of this place, even back when it was still called Yosen. Sadly, today will be my last visit.

When they first changed to Fuga Tei, the first few visits (around 3–5 times) were still okay. But after not coming for a few months, I returned today—and the quality has dropped significantly. • Sushi refill was extremely slow, and many trays were left empty for long periods. • The fries and nuggets were hard and dry, clearly left out for too long. • The ice at the drink station was all melted, and there was no refill in sight. • Hotpot ingredients are getting fewer, and worse, I got a spoiled crab stick. • The lamb and beef slices were very tough, so I ended up just eating sushi and fried rice instead.

Overall, it no longer feels like a Japanese buffet. The current menu leans more towards local hotpot, with items like curry pork, Chinese red bean soup, and Potong ice cream—which takes away from the Japanese dining experience it used to offer.

With the same price point, there are many other places offering better food and a more authentic experience.

Hope the team can work on improving the quality of the meat, soup base, soft drink machine, and soft serve. I really miss how good this...

😋Had an amazing RM44.90 eat-all-you-can buffet with reasonable price at 3·45pm ! I ordered the pork and chicken set which is refillable (got other choices too , haha , I forgot to capture the set price la😅). I feel happy all the way , why leh , let me explain this briefly ya~

Lady Tauke and her staff got refilled at least 20plates of pork belly for me. Why, because delicious lo🤤, but I didn't refill the chicken because I am not a fond of chicken ya . Don't worry , there's no problem with chicken ya , I tried already .

👍🏻Lady Tauke , she's a nice and warm person , I can feel how gentle and approachable to serve every customers and all those plates , her service is top-notch and super friendly. Her worker also not bad , humble and attending when serving customers. After 5 pm, it gets crowded.

Perfect for stress relief. Alone is great too. 😋 I definitely will come again for refillable pork belly and gonna challenge myself to eat more than 20plates🥩, Lady Tauke's good good service and comfy environment(aircond temperature...

going to be completely honest. price i paid per person was around rm46. food is definitely not worth. Wagyumore is almost the same price with way more varieties of vegetables and seafood with better quality. sushi here was bad. sukiyaki soup base barely had any flavour but that is my personal preference i guess. ice cream is basically those few ringgit sticks from 7 eleven.

staff service was amazing though. the guy was friendly and helpful. probably the only reason i gave a higher rating.

atmosphere was not amazing but it was okay. it was cozy and tables were more than enough for at least 2 people. restaurant isn’t that big, that is probably why there isn’t much variety of food. lastly, there was a small cockroach on our side of the wall directly next to my table. cockroach ran up and down and went to the underside of our table.

with that, price is definitely way too expensive for the quality of food that this place offers. staff was...
