Visited 22/04/2024 warm and humid Friday evening. The following sharing are based on our unbiased personal opinion and experience
We chose to try out this Chinese restaurant because of the high rating and review. Drove around 30 mins from where we stay to this location in Puchong.
We arrived around 830pm almost near to closing and the place was packed with diners. And only outdoor seating were available when we arrived.
Parking was pretty easy to find at this timing. Staff was fast to prep the table and took our orders as follow
(Grilled corn 🌽) ⭐⭐⭐
First dish served was the cucumbers. First bite was pretty normal like any others we had tried. They taste was below average maybe due to the seasoning. We had tried better cucumber 🥒 as appetizer.
Second dish was the the spicy chicken. Oh man first bite was amazing. The chicken was so tender and juicy. Not those overcooked and hard to chew Chicken. This is definitely the best I have tried. Kudos to the chef who did this.
Third dish was the grilled pork and corn 🌽. Very normal dish. Corn was well corn with a bit of seasoning. Pork is also normal but lack of cumin seasoning. We had better grilled dish else where.
Last dish served was the pig stomach soup. Came in a claypot piping hot. Peppery taste and ingredients was generous. I had 5 good bowl serving and today is 7-8 bowl 🥣 serving fo this small portion.
Overall I will not give it the highest rating because there were hits and misses. Probably a good 4⭐ for good service, effort but not the pricing.

Read moreI stumbled upon this restaurant through a recommendation from relatives, and as someone who likes Chinese cuisine, I had to try it for myself. Which was the reason my family, relatives and I came here for our recent reunion dinner.
Food here can generally be summarized into three words: delicious, yet SPICY! Want a much more detailed description? Well, for starters, my favorite dishes were the ones with Century Eggs. I highly recommend their Chopped Peppers Preserved Eggs and Preserved Eggs Eggplant dishes, as they the savoriness of the eggs, topped with the spiciness of the chilies, go really well with white rice! Even the Spicy Popcorn Chicken; crunchy, savory and spicy to the mouth! Do beware of the dried chillies, as they sting the most!
Other honorable mentions for dishes we ordered were the Chef Chili Fried Meat and Crispy Fish with Sauerkraut & Pickled Peppers.
Service-wise, the staff were very accommodating towards our requests and demands, and made sure we felt comfortable.
If I had to nitpick on something, it would be how crammed it felt during my visit. It was peak-hours dinner time during the weekends, and the table was barely large enough to fit ten people. Even then, it felt like my chair was also very close to the other customer’s who was seated behind me.
All in all, the overall experience was pleasant and the food was to my liking. I also noticed that this brand has several branches around the areas I frequent, so am looking forward to taking my friends here in the...
Read moreStepping into this Hunan restaurant feels like entering a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. The interior is tastefully designed with oriental accents—lanterns lights, artsy paintings, and subtle green feature wall that immerse you in a serene yet vibrant ambiance.
The staff’s attentiveness stands out immediately. From the warm welcome at the door to their knowledgeable recommendations, the service is both professional and personable. Their efficient standard operating procedures ensure every guest is promptly attended to, making the dining experience seamless and enjoyable.
Now, the highlight—the food. Each dish bursts with bold, authentic flavors that Hunan cuisine is known for, balanced with just the right amount of spice. The Spicy Boiled Fish Fillet was a perfect medley of heat and umami, while the stir-fried Sour Spicy Potato Shreds was both smoky and savory. Even the simpler dishes, like the Enoki Tofu Pot were impeccably seasoned and cooked to perfection.
This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Hunan dining experience, enhanced by stellar service and a gorgeous interior. A true gem that keeps you coming...
