Tl;dr: Easy to find parking. Good selection of free drinks. They have a wide selection of meats in the freezer, and you can pick your cut if you want to. Probs would not come here again for any of the meats. If I do decide to come here, Iād probably just order pasta, or maybe try one of the pizzas. Dining experience wasnāt bad, had the potential to be good, but the dry and hard steaks were seriously a major let down. Tho- credit where creditās due ; the pasta was pretty alright. Couldnāt give a 2.5 but a 3 would be too high so.
Starting on good notes, itās pretty easy to find parking to go to the restaurant. Itās also in a pretty good visible spot. Itās in a pretty decent location. With the food, the aglio olio was decent. It was neither too oily nor too salty, frankly, it was pretty alright. Another plus point of this place is also the free drinks, thereās quite a lot of options from lemonade to iced peach tea to teh tarik. Itās a pretty good selection of complimentary drinks.
Now the thing is, the main things I came here for ; which were the meats, were a major let down for my dad and I. Having asked for a steak that was between medium rare to rare, I got something that was way over cooked. I wouldāve been fine if only one of my meat orders coming out like that, but it was both of my meats. Being someone who also cooks steaks regularly, I donāt think that the meat was properly defrosted prior to cooking. A huge disappointment because that was actually a pretty good cut of meat too š.Whoever cooked it must have been in a rush, not too sure really. It just really seemed to me as if it was still somewhat frozen when they cooked it.
Both the lamb and steak were extremely dry, hard and tough to eat, hard to chew, somewhat tasteless AND overcooked. I tried mentioning to the waitress that it was over cooked and she just said āreally?ā. I didnāt want to make a scene so I just dropped it really. I wanted to take a picture of the lamb too but I was really just too distracted by the amount of dissatisfaction I felt while eating. This dining experience in particular was the first time I found myself drowning my steak in sauce and asking the waitress for salt, pepper and tobasco sauce so I can at least make this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBecause of Instagram, I wanted to try this restaurant. However, when I first come, and pick our seat, my first impression, what a sooooooo not comfortable chair and table. The design of the table, too bulky, and got the bar at every corner make it so uncomfortable to use and the chair, not a good pair with that kind of table. Nevertheless we give a try and order the set for 2pax. The food was okay, delicious. Then come the worst part, my partner l, who cannot speak english nor malay wanted a coffee, and apparently have some misscommunocation with the waitress, and since the coffee take too long to arrive I go and serve myself, and overheard they badmouth my partner, REMIND you, I just standing beside that waitress, and they didnt even let me know that they are preparing the coffee. The coffee come out and it was tooooooo manis and they charged 10rm for instant kopi o kampung. I was so in bad mood because of this incident. My two cent to the owner is here. Hope you read and improve and educate your staff, we, customer come to bring rezeki and money to you and your staff. To owner: Orang lain nak bukak fine dining, kau pun nak bukak. Tapi basic ilmu untuk staff kelaut. Ajar dulu staff cara-cara nak layan pelanggan. Pelanggan ni bukan datang makan free. Kita bayar ratus ratus. Bukan 30RM ya. 300Rm. Tengok macam mana fine dining lain cara mereka layan pelanggan. Barulah pelanggan seronok dan rasa nak datang lagi. Harap ada kebaikan...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāll provide my honest feedback. Although Iāve always noticed this restaurant nearby, it never made it onto my list of places to visit. Today, I decided to try it out on my own. Service: The staff were quite friendly, especially the guys. I arrived before 6 PM, and there was only one other customer. A few of the waitstaff were hanging out at a back table, engrossed in their phones. I was attended to by a waiter, and when I mentioned my preference for lamb, I chose the lamb leg priced at RM98+. I appreciated the explanation that I could enjoy free-flow cordial and four types of hot drinks. Upon the arrival of the food, the first detail that caught my attention was the small plate, which held only two pieces of lamb, while the salad seemed to spill over. The mashed potatoes were hidden beneath the lamb, making the portion feel quite minimal. The chef did achieve the medium-well cook I requested, but unfortunately, the lamb was tough and difficult to chew. I also ordered Teh Tarik, but it tasted bitter, reminiscent of a 3-in-1 sachet. One element that left me puzzled about this restaurant was its concept. Although it seems to be a grill establishment, my dining experience resembled more of a Ramadan buffet. Would I want to return? It's a...
