Rather disappointing outing with my family. Ordered pani puri - it came only with potatoes which were the same ones used to stuff the samosa. The tamarin juice or the "pani" was on its way out. I think the cook felt we didn't know what or how pani puri is supposed to taste and look like. Worst ever. They took it back and struck off the bill.
Ordered Chicken Briyani - worst I've had. Rice used not Basmati rice, rice was wet and stuck together, chicken pieces were on a budget.
It actually cannot be called Briyani, it was more like rice cooked in chicken curry.
Ordered Sotong Briyani - comments ame as above. It was also cooked in the same curry. The sotong was rubbery and we couldn't chew it.
By the way, Briyani is not cooked in a curry, what was presented was more like "satti sorru".
Samosa - the only saving grace. Staff - prompt and gracious.
Suggestion. Cut down on the number of dishes offered, and focus on improving the quality of the dish. If your chef is busing preparing 100 different dishes, he or she is not going to...
Read moreWe went out for breakfast and ordered poori, chapati, and nasi lemak daun pisang. After 15 minutes, we were served burnt poori. We then waited an additional 30 minutes for the chapati and nasi lemak. When I asked the waiter about the delay, the response was that the chapati was being stuffed and the peanuts for the nasi lemak were being fried. We agreed to wait another 15 minutes.
Eventually, I requested roti canai, noticing that other customers who arrived later were served roti canai. Despite asking twice, we waited another 10 minutes, yet there was still no sign of the chapati, nasi lemak, or roti canai. Meanwhile, the staff and cooks started arguing in the kitchen.
Frustrated, we decided to pay for the food and leave without eating. It was a disappointing experience, especially during the holiday season. The management should ensure proper oversight of the staff to avoid...
Read moreMy family was recently recommended to give this place a try and so we did! Environment is pretty nice and service was pretty good! But sadly their Masala Tea and Bru Coffee was a letdown as compared to their branch in Klang. But their Briyani Rice is a must try, my family’s favourite in this shop. Their Banana Leaf rice is not bad either with free refill for their dishes and papadam. Their papadam is huge!
Would I recommend people to this place? Sure thing. But not the best place to have tea or coffee and chit chat. Is light enough to the point you can fell asleep after drinking a cup. Hope they improve their drinks the next time I visit with stronger coffee and stronger...
