Restoran Ah Wah — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

On 13th of July 2025, before me and my family went to the restaurant, we called the restaurant beforehand to reserve a table and the boss kept on saying "no more place for you to book and all" and only when the female boss took the call, she took our order and took our table.

When we went there, there was two table booked under "reserve" despite the reserve that the costumer book was 8pm++ and when i mentioned whether is it possible to just take this table since there wasn't any table avaliable, they said can't cause its booked (btw we went there around 6pm). Instead of giving us a normal table to sit and all, they gave us a small table and put an extension wood on top of it (which surprise surprise, it was wobbling the entire time)

They were rude, not bothered to give us the empty tables despite the table reserve for an 8pm table.

The food is good and that's a fact but i would rather go to other places that has good service to eat rather than a place that bad costumer service like do better.

First time trying the food here. Ordered via Foodpanda to pickup (1/6/21). Hokkien Mee, Sweet & Sour Pork with Rice, plus Curry Pork with Rice. Good portions. Very satisfying. The curried pork could do with a little more salt but that's easily fixed. The Hokkien Mee was really good. The sweet and sour pork could have done with a little more sauce. But overall, it was really good and satisfying. The packaging was good with the rice dishes; dividing the rice from the meat.

I liked the service offered by Foodpanda to be able to order ahead with a discount on the normal Foodpanda prices. Came to basically almost the same cost as it would have been if I'd gotten the food directly from Restaurant Ah Wah. It allowed me to just arrive there and pick up the food without...

They've raised price again recently. This thing cost me Rm15.80. Fried rice and the like starts from Rm9 now. Increments used to be 30 or 50 cents but now all the businesses raised Rm1 by default.

I've been coming here for 3 years but the price range is ridiculous now. The food and quality is not even good. We've come to a point where we cannot afford hawker stalls or dai chao food now. And eating at McD or marrybrown has more value than hawker stalls.

I'm sorely disappointed as these businesses profiteering outrageously at the expense of consumer.

Sorry, but I think I cannot continue supporting this...
