I tried the asam Laksa. It was 16 bucks and I loved it. It had a authentic asam laksa taste in every sense and I thought 16 bucks was worth it. I can't remember the drink I had so it was probably forgettable. It wasn't bad , because I don't remember it negatively, but it probably was forgetable, because I can't really remember anything about it , Although I was just there a week ago. The service is fast and efficient . The seating is and the ambience is of the bare minimum sort. The table and chairs are placed in the walkway of subang parade. It basically feels like a upper level hawker's joint inside of subang parade. The service, food taste and ambience all felt like a typical Malaysian hawker food experience . The price though was higher than your average hawker food on account of it being inside a shopping mall. I liked it a lot. It totally liked how I could get hawker food inside subang parade without having to break the...

Their nasi lemak is still the same as the day they opened more than 20 years ago. One of the few surviving Malaysian restaurants in Subang Parade besides Esquire Kitchen. It used to be very packed and full back in the day.
They are most famous for their nasi lemak and roti bakar.
Surprisingly; when I had one in 2023, I felt that their quality gotten better instead. Ordered their nasi lemak beef rendang, felt like their portions gotten bigger. Now they give 2 big pieces of beef along with one palm size of sambal sotong. Their rice is fragrant and flavourful. Their beef rendang as well are very flavourful, a nice amount as well. Their sambal too is not too spicy and not too sweet.
Fast service too and reasonable priced. About RM18 for one nasi lemak but its worth it. When I dined in, there is always a line. Felt very nostalgic as well as for many...
Read moreI am a regular of Uncle Lim, so honest and direct reviews is, their food is ok, I do fancy their beef rendang nasi lemak, the coconut rice is rich, curry and sambal is solid pass, meat is tender, and to top it all A PIECE OF SAMBAL SOTONG !
HOWEVER, the main disappoint part has to be the quality of the milk coffee, it used to be KAW aka rich with strong coffee flavour, but now its been diluted so bad, that might as well I call it sweet milk with coffee flavour (my personal opinion).
Ill give credit for their curry noodle, chicken chop and wantan soup, not much credit for the dry...
