OLDTOWN White Coffee @ Kuala Terengganu — Restaurant in Terengganu

4/5/22. 3rd day of Raya. My 3 aunts went to this place on 9.30 P.M. Sat and wrote their order, before being told by this focal person for this review, a Bangladesh waiter which advised the food will be an hour late. Hence, they asked for consideration to send the simple foods first (beverages and roti bakar). After half an hour waiting, they noticed other customers have started receiving their orders while they themselves have not received none. One of my aunts went to the same waiter again to ask how can other recent customers whom only just came received their orders first whilst none of their order has came? This Bangladeshi worker proceed to throw a fit, hands and voiced raised claiming how can my aunts received their orders if they did not order? Clearly my aunt has wrote down their order in the order sheet and proceed to give it to him as he has reviewed and commented that the order will be an hour late in the first place. I am quite dissatisfied and disappointed with this treatment from this worker, as I understand during this festive season customers intake can be very high and workers have to work at an increased and fast rate to serve, but that does not justify the treatment received by my aunts. Their only mistake was to not take it to higher management and stormed off as your employee’s action has clearly made other customers took notice of the dispute and have being uncomfortable with the situation enveloping as no males were present they decided to leave. Clearly a kopitiam with a distinguished reputation such as Old Town would proceed to handle this situation better and came clean that the order sheet may have been lost amidst the wave of customers pouring in. Unacceptable hospitality...

I have recently visited Old Town White Coffee , Kuala Terengganu. I love the food there. It was so nice.The package during breakfast,lunch and dinner is also affordable.The cafe sells a lot of delicious food and drinks but my favourite is Red Bean Blended and Laksa Penang. Both of these are always tasty and scrumptious. The service is so good, nothing to complain.The store employees are very efficient and kind.The employees also always smile while serving us. I like the atmosphere, it is very convenient to do our task or assignment.The cafe also provides free Wifi and has a plug to charge our laptop or phone while doing the assignment. I recommend this cafe because the cafe has a variety of food and affordable...

Came right after lunch hour, so less crowded. Parking's a bit tricky though. Staffs are good, cashier is okay. Food's not taking so much time to be served. Standard price of these kind of franchise. RM80++ for 4 pax.

We ordered: Wonton soup - the broth is light in taste, quite tasty, i asked for cili potong to enhance the taste. And it's super hot, so be careful.

Rice with chicken and mushroom - delicious. I bet children would love it.

Rice with minced chicken - delicious as well, flavourful and a little bit spicy, not suitable for kids.
