This hotel is beautiful and has its charm, but the service was disappointing.
First, there was no parking. Since the hotel is located in the city center, finding a spot to park during the day was very difficult.
Second, there were no TV or air conditioner remotes. When it was time to pray, I had to switch off the TV using the power button, and at night, if it got too cold, I had to turn off the air conditioner directly from the switch because there was no remote.
Third, there was no kettle in the room, so if I needed hot water, I had to go down to the lobby.
Fourth, many items were broken or damaged. For example, in my room, the chair was broken, and the flooring felt unstable, almost like it was about to collapse (probably because it was made of wood).
Fifth, the service was really poor. When I asked the receptionist, “Is the room okay? Does it have the facilities?” the staff just replied, “Check it first" and not only that, you're hardly to call them because the receptionist will not pick up the phone call, you need to go to the lobby if you need or ask them. On top of that, I had to iron my clothes in the hallway next to the lift. And when I came, the lift was out of service, and they couldn’t even say when it would be fixed, so I had to use the stairs.
On the bright side, since the hotel is in the city center, there are plenty of conveniences nearby. Just downstairs, there were eateries like nasi ayam gepuk, a bank, and across the street, there’s a supermarket, Watsons, and clothing stores.
Overall, I would rate...
Read moreI was just accompany my friend to KT as he soon going to start work there. before we found house there, my friend booked this hotel through his brother's help. without expecting much, we reached there on last sat night.||||no car park over there, but still not too bad, we found public car park just nearby there.||||hotel entrance and the reception still ok. we thought we found 1 budget and yet with good quality hotel. it was totally difference when we reach our room.||||1: No cupboard, table or chair. We didn't have a place to put, to hang or to keep our clothes.||2: since that we do not have night activity at KT, we turn on our TV. guess what, only 1 channel is clear. other channel all blur.||3: very dusty. wall and lamp all full with dust.||4: our shower not function properly. we need to press continuously and only able to get hot water.||||anyhow, hotel did provided wifi. with quite fast speed.and hotel location not too bad. walking distance to bus stop, and 5 mins drive to kampung cina. nearby here got few banks.||that's the good thing i can think of this hotel. but all this not so important as this is the value added stuff only.||||need huge improvement in order to improve hotel room quality. it will be bad experience to tourist. especially if not mistaken, i think 2013 is KT...
Read moreI took a 3 bed room for one night as I had no choice..all the other rooms were full and the room was cheap. And so I took the key and went to the room expecting for quite something..but I found quite the opposite.Even the staff were not friendly. They don't even smile. Now for the room. The room looked ancient. The wiring were dangerously let loose. The heater was old and noisy. But wasn't functioning well. The tv was a small old box set. Channels were not clear. No toiletries were provided. Only 3 small bars of soap. No water bottle or heater in the room. The cabinet was made of wood and most of it had come off and was dusty. There was a balcony. The balcony door, was very hard to open. Once opened, I found out that it can't be locked. So you sleep all night or go out not feeling safe about your belongings. I recommend bringing your own towel as theirs didn't seem so clean. They had an old lift. If you wanted to go to the third floor, the lift will still stop on the1st and 2nd level. But it works good when going down. They do have a water dispenser downstairs where you can get hot and cold water. All in all it wasn't a pleasant stay. But if you are just crashing for a night, I...
