Tiara Cafe — Restaurant in Terengganu

PERFECT FOR PEOPLE WHO LOVE TO WAIT. Started off well when we got our XL watermelon juice and keropok lekor but then it only went downhill from there. They forgot all our other orders and we had to remind them multiple times. Our lala bakar came first then rice came 20 mins later, without any forks. We couldn’t wait and started eating the lala but turns out only half was edible. For our mains, we ordered 2 fish, both of which they forgot. When we asked them where our fish was, she laughed and walked away. She then came back and asked us if we still wanted the fish. What was supposed to be a 15 min wait turned out to be a 45 min wait. On top of that, our seafood tomyam had an unwanted ingredient - a worm. Overall, subpar food accompanied by horrible service....

Great food on the island (which by the way is not easy to come by). Ikan Bakar (barbequed fish) at night was excellent - the fish was fresh and succulent, complemented by the sweet and tangy Malay seasoning. It was also reasonably priced at RM40 for a whole Siakap (sea bass). However, be prepared to wait for at least an hour for the food to arrive but this is fairly common...

Google should allow me to rate 0 star Horrible experience. One of the server ruined my trip all. He served totally different and insisted we were wrong when I made an order. He just pretend to be upset to hide his mistake because his first working day. And, he insulted me. If my wife and I cannot speak English, he would...
