Uptown Eco Hotel — Hotel in Terengganu

An unassuming hotel in the heart of town. Walking distance to Pasar Payang, Chinatown. Beautiful Double Room with small corridor, lower kitchen cabinets, electric jar kettle, sink, iron. There is a living room space with bean bags & TV, separated from bedroom with a sliding door. Bedroom was large & had a long wooden table which was great & really convenient for short stay travellers. There is a beautiful balcony that overlooks the main road. Toilet has bidet & shower has rain shower head as well as normal lift off shower spray. Water pressure was awesome! Owner & staff very, very friendly & helpful. Good hospitality. Value for money. Bed was comfortable, sheets were clean & so was overall room & toilet. Warm, friendly people everywhere we went and visited. Super clean & wide roads. Peaceful, calm, serene and no traffic jam. The Crystal Mosque awed me with its night scene. Pantai Kelutut super clean with wooden timber design tables & chairs where one could chill with some snacks. The hotel is located just 2-minute walk away from the main market (Pasar Payang) and 5-minute walk from Chinatown. We got a free upgrade to 3 poster bed room and we were extremely delighted. The room was nothing but spacious and clean, mattress and pillows are comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Towels are also provided and hot water is available at all times. The bathroom was huge, too! The room also has a TV, kettle and a long wooden table, which is excellent for families. The hotel has an elevator, definitely a plus point when you're travelling with the elderly and kids. Staff was also very attentive. There's also Papparich downstairs and getting uber/grabcar is easier when you mark your location as to/from Papparich. All in all, love our stay! My stay here was absolutely delightful! Andy, the host, was patient, attentive and really helpful when it came to the booking process or any room inquiry before and during my stay. Before arriving, he would send you a list of recommended places to visit and eat, so I found that very helpful! 10/10 would book again just because of Andy and his hospitality!

As for the room - amazing. Solid and aesthetically pleasing, the room was clean and spacious! There's a huge dining table which I found useful for packed food (because KT shops tend to close earlier, so 'tapao-ing' food is likely for midnight snacking) but there are no cutleries provided, nor dish soap.
