Food was ok, but all items except rice and fish were stone cold. I was promised fish curry for my thali, but they forgot to make it. I received a vegetarian thali instead. I asked where my fish curry was and they said fish had run out? Anyways, they eventually brought me some fried fish? Don't know what happened to the spicy fish curry I was promised? Food tasted OK, but for sure would of been better hot. Portions are small. The little pots had half of London servings. Plain rice is old, wet and reheated rice. Really cheap and bad quality. Please check your bill. The menu and bill does not tally at all. When questioning prices some excuse will come up. The price on menu for thali is one price only. Apparently fish or meat is charged differently. So, why is this not on the menu? Kind of fed up, as it happens too often in the Maldives. Never happened to me on resorts, just Male and local islands. Also truly unfair to charge service charge for two takeaway samosas, which I ordered after meal to go. They added my takeaway to the bill, (not separate), and charged service on the takeaway items. The samosas looked lovely. I just tried them now. They are awful. I binned them. Horrible tasting, and no flavour, no chilli or spices. The ones I had on Thoddoo...
Read moreAfter having not had Indian food for almost two weeks, found this place while walking on the street and decided to walk-in and experience the food.
The place looked rather decent and the display looked appealing which drew me to it. However don’t fall for that.
Ordered a samosa to start with, now let me tell you this, the samosa was not fresh, felt like it’s been there for a few days and it tastes bad.
The aloo parota I ordered was tasting of something else. Believe me, you cannot call it an aloo parota just cos you put some potatoes between two breads.
The chilli chicken was decent I’ll give that, did not want to order anything Indian as I did not want to have a bad taste.
Ordered a water melon juice, which arrived after we finished the meal. Wow
Overall, don’t go unless you are ready for a disappointment. I’ve added pictures so you can see...
Read moreI went here with friends and family and was very disappointed. The chow mein and chopsuey were basically the same dish, made with the wrong noodles, drenched in ketchup, and completely bland. The dum biryani was mushy and flavorless, and the butter chicken was overly sweet and didn’t taste like butter chicken at all. The garlic naan was stale and had no taste of the garlic, and the only thing worth eating was the paratha. We weren't able to finish the food due to how terrible it was. Drinks (milkshakes) were average, and even the coke float was underwhelming since they didn’t use vanilla ice cream. To make things worse, the tables weren’t cleaned properly, and my cousin ended up staining his shirt. Overall, this was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I will not be coming back and do not recommend this...
