Mr. Fitz — Restaurant in Marsaxlokk

In summary: a total tourist rip-off and bad service.

On the recommendation of the waitress, we ate the catch of the day and calamari stuffed with prawns. The calamari was quite ok but unfortunately filled with additional with fish, so that my friend, who is allergic to fish, couldn't eat any of his dish except the bread that was served with it.

There was little sorry when we commented on this fact. No alternative, no money back, they wantes the full price of € 24 which was also way too much.

The catch of the day was a small fish, probably sea bream, which according to the bill was 500g but realn reality it's weight was more like 250g. We payed 5€ per 100g, so in the end a proud price of 25€ was due.

After eating pasta at this restaurant, I felt like throwing up the rest of the day. We couldn't go through with the rest of our plans because I was so nauseous. We think they don't serve fresh ingredients. My other friends didn't like it either. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!! The appetizer arrived after the main courses because "that's how it happened," and we said that twice, that we want it to be a starter before the main courses. The staff was completely disinterested in our guests. No one came to ask us about our next drink, if we liked the food, or if we wanted to pay. We waited 30 minutes for the bill after the waitress was summoned! We work in the restaurant industry ourselves, and this kind of behavior is unacceptable.
