Today Sunday 15th June Father’s Day lunch, booked a table for ten people, was one of the worst dinning experience ever. No fans available for outside seating. Ordered a grilled chicken and chips for our kid , the chicken was served boiled, complained , asked to change and one of the waiter came with the excuse that the restaurant is not equipped with a grill so the chicken was not served as ordered. We ordered medium filet of beef and was served well done which was very dry. Same sauce served with filet of beef was also served with lamb shank. Gluten free items bread only, tried to order pasta gluten free not available. Ordered side salad costed €4 a very small bowl with butter lettuce only. Salmon served in a soup plate immersed in a lot of sauce. Apart of over priced food side dishes if you can call them side dishes which are very small are paid extra. Went to this restaurant with high expectations after going through the mostly positive reviews, but left very disappointed, especially with the main course. I chose fish of the day (red mullett), which was supposedly a good filleted portion coming with a tasty gravy, and instead having just what looked like half a fish (or what must have been a very small one not longer than 20cm), badly filleted (full of small bones which had to be constantly removed), cooked to a somewhat dry state and with just some asparagus and watercress simply cooked with lots of butter and no apparent seasoning. Very bland dish overall, especially for the price which was on the high side. Other dishes ordered on the same table were also of similar portion size and lacking flavour. From the very first moment, the staff showed incredible kindness and hospitality: although we arrived without a reservation, they still managed to find us a beautiful table, setting the tone for a perfect romantic dinner. We shared a fine bottle of French wine and indulged in a superb meal – fresh fish, crisp salads, and perfectly prepared meat dishes, each plate full of flavor and elegance. To crown the evening, the desserts were out of this world: a rich chocolate mousse, delicate profiteroles, a silky crème brûlée, and other sweet delights that left us absolutely speechless. The entire atmosphere, the care of the staff, and the quality of the food make this place shine far above five stars.
