Despite its high rating and beautiful location, our experience at this restaurant was underwhelming. We were seated at a wobbly outdoor table, which set the tone early. Service began well, with drinks arriving promptly, but things quickly declined once the food arrived.
The bruschetta was disappointing—barely toasted bread topped with a bland vegetable mixture. The sea bass was the highlight of the meal, but the pork main was dry, and the side of potatoes were undercooked.
What truly soured the evening was the service. We waited over 35 minutes between the starter and mains without any explanation or apology. When we mentioned the dry pork, it was met with indifference. We were waiting for empty glasses to be removed even after being served the next round of drinks. To top it off, we had to ask for the bill twice and still waited 20 minutes just to pay.
The only redeeming factor was the fantastic live music. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for a poorly executed experience. Given the location, you’d expect much better—there are certainly other spots nearby offering better food,...
Read more⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely perfect experience! We had a wonderful time at this lovely little restaurant located on a charming square in Malta. The atmosphere is warm, authentic, and full of life — you feel welcome the moment you arrive.
The service was truly exceptional: the waiter was attentive, friendly, and very helpful with recommendations for both the food and the wine. It’s rare to find such genuine and professional service at the same time!
As for the food — simply delicious from start to finish 😍. We started with fried calamari, perfectly crispy and flavorful. Then we tried the house specialty: spaghetti with rabbit and a rich rabbit sauce, a traditional Maltese dish full of depth and perfectly cooked. We also shared some seafood linguine, incredibly delicate and clearly made with very fresh ingredients.
All in all, everything was perfect — from the service to the food to the atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant — without a doubt one of the best meals we’ve had during our stay in Malta! 🇲🇹✨

Read moreGot to be open just because of the location in the square, steak was terrible, looked like it could’ve been the cheapest €30 steak in the town and tasted like it too, extremely tough for a med rare - probably one from Lidl. The pasta sauce tasted just like one out of a jar and it had a massive hair in it. Inside the restaurant looked dirty and a mess. Server took his time getting the bill and proceeded to try add €20 to the bill 3 separate times when I corrected him! Could’ve help but laugh at the absolute waste of money that was. Spent nearly 2 weeks eating all over the town and there are many far better options. I have no idea how these people have given 5 stars to this place….palettes...
