Poor service,waiting staff selling you a total scam shame as we were looking forward to Dinning here,we stopped at the starter as I was so angry with too many red flags it was not professional from the manger,what wine was we to drink with the main course if you give the rest of our wine to other diners,not professional at all.staff don't know how to speak to you if I knew their English was so bad in understanding I would have left before the starter went down.bad wine menu no medium wine by the glass so the waiter said you can have a bottle which will give you 1½ each,but no more came,so he got the manger( if he was one not sure)he came over to say no you have the rest of the wine in said it was a small bottle that the waiter recommended and what's happen to the rest,oh its gone to another diner,? Really how un professional are you sir,so no more wine for the main course,I was so pissed off we ate the starter and I told my husband to cancel the main,just pay and go do not recommend this restaurant. Most restaurants would try to make adjustments but this manager is not fit...

Last week, we went for dinner at Liska Mellieha and unfortunately the experience did not meet our expectations.

To start, we ordered the cozze (€16), but the portion was surprisingly small for the price. Additionally, the plate used was not suitable for the dish, as the broth overflowed easily. We requested bread to enjoy with the sauce, but it took over 10 minutes to arrive, and we only received two small pieces—not nearly enough for a shared starter.

Next, we had the linguine gamberi rossi, which were very good and the highlight of the meal. However, the octopus dish (€25) was extremely disappointing: it was soaked in lemon, overly chewy, and essentially inedible. We returned it untouched, and the waiter informed us it would be removed from the bill.

Despite this, we were only given a 10% discount on a €90 bill, which does not reflect the issues we experienced. One dish was returned, and the starter and service left much to be desired. We left feeling frustrated and...

Liska is a great dinner place with very flavorful food and great portions! We actually wasn’t supposed to eat here and try the place next door but the plates coming out and the aroma from the kitchen just drew us in and am I glad ! Our server was mariana she was so polite and great at service for a starter we did oyster and they topped it with caviar the caviar was a perfect touch to them and I went back to order more ! For our mains I did the lobster tortellacci and switched for the white sauce rather than the red and let me tell you best decision as it was so good and had it well Balanced !
