The fish was some of the freshest we’ve ever tasted, prepared with recipes that were not only delicious but unlike anything we’ve had before. You can truly tell that thought, skill, and love go into every bite.

What made the experience even more unforgettable was the service. Marco, the owner himself, took the time to serve us personally. His warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made us feel like honoured guests rather than just customers.

The best Restaurant on the harbour. The Staff is super friendly, the seating outside will provide you a nice view, you have heating outside, should it be a colder night and the food is great. Everything we had was fantastic. The Maltese Special Platter (capers, Gozoian Cheese, Artichokes, Sundried Tomatoes, Olives, minced sausage, billiga, which is a beanpaste and delicious bread) as a starter is perfect for everyone who wants to taste a variety of local stuff. I went several times to Il-Hnejja.

Probably they are making one of the best Ġbejna Fritter in the island. Mozzarella Fritter(has a slightly different name in the menu) is good too. They have special spicy olive oil for breads.

Fish is really good. Fresh fish and not grilled completely. Their cooking style is a bit different.

Pasta with Lobster(has an Italian name for that in the menu I can't remember right now) or Noci Lobster (lobster inside big Raviolis)are really good. If you like lobster, must try.
