We took the Ferry from Valetta we walked around, we were looking for spaghetti with sea urchin at the end we saw this one but surprisingly no sea urchin even if was on the special menu, my wife settled for octopus stew, the chef recommend instead fried with crumbs, was not in the menu, flavour and overall texture was nice, very soft not rubbery at all, I had the pasta with Maltese sausage, was very nice. Nice place to eat on hot days you can seat outside and look at the seaside. Recommended

Absolutely loved this restaurant on the outskirts of Valletta. Small, family run business, with top quality ingredients. Probably not the cheapest place but quality was worth it. My partner and I utilised the massive specials board and had Argentinian fillet steak, massive local king prawns, and red snapper. The latter was filleted beautifully at our table. Incredible food, good wine, and great atmosphere. We will definitely be returning when we next come to Malta!

We have been to Il-Hnejja off season (late March) but the weather was great to sit outside - with views of the pier right in front of you. We were welcomed by Chris who was very attentive and helpful with all the dish recommendations throughout the night. We enjoyed great seafood sourced locally and delicately curated by Malcolm which was all delicious. Great little place to try!

Small restaurant Pros: good food, good view, fair price Cons: small portion. The juice is going to expire very soon, maybe some people don’t mind it, but I won’t take this juice when I’m in supermarket It was embarrassing that no more toilet paper when I was in. Service was just okay. For the food I give 5, for the service I’d give 3.5 Overall I recommend

Went to eat for christmas lunch. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, couldn't do enough to help and made the experience that much nicer.. food was nothing short of delicious and well priced! A must visit in future especially when the weather is nice as it is beautifully situated by the sea. Also had some special visitors 🦆🦆

First time having Maltese food and this place has so many delicious options! Try the Tortelli Lobster and the Pancotti Scollop. The server put these two on a platter for our group to share. The service was fantastic and the setting offers nice views of the water and of the historic architecture all around. Definitely recommend.
