I recently had the pleasure of dining at Novita restaurant in Senglea for lunch and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience.

Firstly, the location of the restaurant is stunning. It is situated right on the waterfront, offering breathtaking views of the Grand Harbour. The outdoor seating area is perfect for a sunny day, with a light breeze and the sound of the water adding to the ambiance.

The staff at Novita were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They made us feel right at home and were happy to offer recommendations from their extensive menu. Speaking of the menu, it was filled with a variety of delicious options that cater to different dietary preferences. I was impressed by the selection of fresh seafood dishes.

For my main course, I ordered the lobster tortelloni and I must say, it was one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the lobster filling was rich and flavorful. It was clear that the ingredients used were of high quality and the dish was beautifully presented.

I also couldn't resist trying the pistachio cheese cake for dessert and I was not disappointed. The combination of the creamy cheese and the crunch of the pistachio was a perfect balance of flavors. It was the perfect end to a fantastic meal. Overall, I would highly recommend Novita restaurant for a lunch experience. The food, service, and setting were all top-notch and made for a truly enjoyable dining experience. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes from their menu.

My first culinary experience in Malta. I have chosen the place due to the reviews from all the places open at that moment. Be aware that some places are closing after lunch, or even open late in evening - maybe just in Sundays, but better to check prior. The view on harbour and the city across the water - amazing all the stars for that 🤩. The staff is friendly, atmosphere very pleasant with the music and the view. Be prepared for many flies, though. The food slightly disappointing, as I was expecting similar experience as in Italy/Greece for the seafood, but it wasn’t the case. The taste was ok, nothing special. The plate was with 5 types of fish, only one was eaten with enthusiasm :). Also too expensive, for what is offered for the 30 Euro. You receive some bread and butter from the house. Overall I would say that in Seglea the restaurants near the harbour are slightly more expensive compared to other cities, even Valetta. Still worth the visit due to the view and atmosphere.

This is the best restaurant in the Three Cities. Maybe even the whole of Malta. We started with bread and homemade butter. That was already really tasty. Then we had mussels for appetisers, and were thoroughly impressed with how well prepared they were. A sign of things to come! For main dishes we had the red snapper and the tuna tataki. Both were delicious but saying that is a disservice; the tataki was, by far, the best tuna I have ever had. And the portion was bigger than I expected. I didn’t have to think “I wish there was more”. For dessert we had the brownie with vanilla ice cream. This was a homemade dessert and, once again, impressively tasty. The service was also amazing. The girl who served us was super nice and we had a great chat as well. Oh, and the music is pretty sweet. I wish I lived here to be able to come to this restaurant every week.

On our crazy last day in Malta, we had our last meal at Novita. It's surreal all the coincidences and adventures we had on that day, but Novita was the perfect place to end our culinary trip on.

Unbeknownst to us, September 8th was Victory day in Malta, so while visiting the Three Cities, we found out through all the celebrations that it was a Maltese national holiday. Plus, there was a boat competition between the Three Cities AND to add to all those festivities, there was a feast celebrated only in Senglea. Thus, Novita had a special menu due to the ongoing feast (shorter menu, but excellent choices nonetheless). Looking back, good thing the menu was shorter or it would have been impossible for us to pick (there was too many tempting dishes). With a lot of help from our waitress, we settled for the crispy octopus and burrata, then had the tuna tataki and the linguine al tartare di gambero rosso (shrimp tartare linguine). We had two desserts even though we were stuffed (it was too hard to only pick one from their exhaustive selection): pistachio cheesecake (homemade each morning) and the pistachio semifreddo (many other flavours available). Cocktails were also very good, long list to chose from with original creations.

The linguine with the shrimp tartare was by far my favorite. Although all the dishes were exquisite and flavourful, the shrimp tartare in pasta was so original and all the flavours complemented each other so well. My stomach aches for another plate of that dish. What stood out even more than the food was the phenomenal service. Our waitress is clearly S-tier. She knows all the dishes by heart and explains it clearly to each new guest that were seated as we noticed over the night. The restaurant got crowded and she still managed like a queen, providing excellent service at all time. She was also kind enough to stop us from ordering too much, we were torn by the amazing varieties and dishes offered, but she guided us well.

Long story short, just come and enjoy the view, the great service and delicious food. You won't be disappointed. I can't wait to come back at my next...

In this weekend on thursday 21/08 at 10pm i went with my friends to eat something, the Food was beyond my expectation, but my surprise was the waitress, it was a girl with low bun with crown braids, maybe she was in a Good mood but the trait was slmething i havent seen in my whole life.

In my dessert i was going for the easy, tiramisu, i dont know nothing about malta, but she explained to me the whole desserts menu trying to explain me which one was the typical in malta, i never liked the cheesecake but she promised me that i would love it and i did.

She tried to speak spanish, and maybe shes forced to do that to be that nice because her job, but she was the most sweetest and nicest person.

I tried to talk to her but when i came back to the restaurant but the restaursnt was close, i went to spain without her being able to know this. That i came back to invite her a coffee.

Maybe this is not the right place to say this but i wont see her again never in my life, i wanted to thank her for made my Day.

She has the prettiest smile i have ever seen, amazing site this restaurant i hope someday she can read this review,...
