Today was the second time i have a pizza at this place. The place is spatious with nice tables and comfortable seats. The pizza is also quite good. There are a lady and a gent working there. While i was having my pizza i felt like there is an annoying noise disturbance and i noticed there was a smart phone playing loud music in staff area. I asked whose it was and the gent said it is his. I told him that it was disturbing and he stopped it. One minute later he shockingly put it on back again and as loud. I went back to him to tell him about it and he told me if i don't like it i can go home. This is the example of really low quality recruitment. This guy doesn't even have the basics of respect towards the client. He treated me like i have no dignity and the clients there noticed. I explained to him that there is alreadt the music from the mall and he said "there is music everywhere. If you don't like it go home". He told me at least three or four times to go home. It was morning and i came to relax in the first business hour. An uncivilized guy like this guy has no place where people come to have a pleasant time. A completely incompatible person. Why put people's mood at the mercy of such a person? To the business owner i must say this is your fault and i am not sure if you care. I expect an answer like no one was complaining except me and it is my problem. The employee wouldn't behave as such unless he thought he was covered. I have seen places like that which operate just for the ego of the owner, not because they care taking society to a higher level. I am asking other clients support to put an end to the arrogance that took place today. For the moment this place is "disgusto"...

The menu offers an impressive variety of authentic Italian dishes, from classic pasta and pizza to fresh salads and desserts. The Margherita pizza, with its perfect crust and fresh mozzarella, was equally divine. Itâs clear that they use high-quality, fresh ingredients in every dish.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was flawless. Their passion for Italian food and culture shines through, and theyâre happy to recommend dishes or customize your meal to suit your preferences.
What sets Gusto Italiano apart is the balance between quality and value. For such exceptional food, the prices are very reasonable. The location is also a bonus â being inside The Point Shopping Centre makes it a convenient stop after a day of shopping or exploring Sliema. Despite its central location, the restaurant offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
The desserts are worth saving room for, many cakes to choose from as shown on my photos.
Overall, Gusto Italiano delivers an outstanding dining experience that combines delicious food, excellent service, and a cozy setting. Itâs a must-visit for anyone in Sliema. I highly recommend this place and canât...
Read moreI used to come here regularly because I really liked the handmade pastries they used to prepare. However, recently Iâve noticed that not only are the artisanal sweets from just a few weeks ago no longer being made, but something even more off-putting has happened.
What really made me decide never to return to this place is the fact that they hired a sort of âmanagerâ whoâs supposed to run things when the owner isnât around (the owner herself is usually very kind, attentive, and committed to cleanliness and the quality of the products served).
This person, however, is incredibly arrogant and careless when the owner is not there â a completely different person when she is around. Worst of all, she has the disgusting habit of putting her hands in her mouth, picking her teeth with her nails, and then going on to prepare customersâ croissants or pick up focaccias from the bar display! Absolutely revolting. Iâve witnessed this more than once â the first time I couldnât believe my eyes, but then, while sipping my coffee just a minute later, she did it again⊠twice.
I can understand if the pastries arenât what they used to be. I can even understand that someone might have a bad attitude when unsupervised. But putting your hands in your mouth or hair and then touching food without washing your hands? Thatâs just gross.
Definitely a place to avoid as long as this manager is around. Sadly, sheâs local too, so we canât even blame it on a...
