Guadalupe boat bar — Restaurant in Sliema

Very nice an unique place but extremely expensive. No regular prices, today paid 1,5euro for a water, and last time 2,5 for same water. If u are not careful they charge u more. The guy wanted to charge us today €16 for a water, small beer and a ham and cheese sandwich instead of €12. We went on the front boat pass just near the waiter which dvdn said "hello" but he never came to take the order, we was waiting about 10 min than we went our self to order and pick the drinks from the bar. However beautiful place just too expensive and the music not on test on everyone mostly rock music. Staff can do better for service too and use calculator if can not calculate...

I made a reservation a month in advance in WhatsApp , and they arranged a lovely table for us. Aaron was incredibly kind and took excellent care of us throughout the evening. Although it was their opening night, the team went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome.

They brought our drinks upstairs, provided us with blankets, and we enjoyed a beautiful view of Valletta while dining. Beautiful bar/restaurant on a boat! Little gem hidden from most tourist, absolutely recommend if your looking to escape from the crowded bar of sliema. Is Italian owned, so the food and the drinks are exactly what you need. The boat offer both shaded area and an open front deck to suck up the the sun and enjoy the beautiful view of the canal.
