Today we celebrated our child’s birthday at Sotto Pinsa Romana in Sliema, and it was a fantastic experience! The venue, the atmosphere, and the hospitality made it a truly memorable day for both kids and parents.
The pizza-making activity was the highlight of the party-the kids absolutely loved rolling out the dough, choosing their toppings, and baking their own pizzas. And the best part? The pizzas turned out delicious! It was a fun, interactive experience that made the celebration extra special.
The restaurant itself has a cozy and authentic Italian feel, and there’s plenty of space for the kids to play, sing songs, and enjoy themselves. The location in Sliema is convenient, easy to find, and makes for a great party spot.
A small note-the staff doesn’t speak a lot of English, but they are incredibly kind and helpful. As long as you’re polite and patient, they will go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect for you. One recommendation: have the host arrive about 30-40 minutes early to ensure everything is set up and to clarify any last-minute details.
Overall, Sotto Pinsa Romana takes care of everything-food, entertainment, and the space-making it stress-free for parents. Just bring a few batches of balloons to add a festive touch, and you have the perfect kids’ birthday celebration! We highly recommend this place and will...
Read moreI recently visited Sotto Pinsa Romana in Sliema with a friend, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the cozy yet modern decor.
The pinsa was absolutely phenomenal—easily the best I've ever had. The dough was light, perfectly crispy on the outside, and wonderfully airy on the inside. The toppings were fresh and bursting with flavor. We tried a couple of their signature combinations, and every bite was a treat.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food they serve, which made the experience even better. The attention to detail, both in the service and the food presentation, was outstanding.
If you're in Sliema and looking for authentic, delicious pinsa with a great ambiance, Sotto Pinsa Romana is the place to go. Highly recommended—I can't wait to...
Read moreMy recent visit to Roma Pinsaria left me with negative feelings.
I ordered the Mortadella Pinsa, which unfortunately didn't taste as fresh as I had hoped. The Mortadella lacked the savory punch I expected, leaving me somewhat disappointed.
Moving on to the Stracciatella, I found it to be oddly sour, which was unexpected and not particularly enjoyable.
The final blow came with the Tiramisu, priced at almost 6 euros. To my dismay, it was pre-packed in a small to-go container, and upon opening it, I discovered it was primarily liquid cream. It left me questioning whether it was old or if they were just being frugal with the ingredients.
It seems there may be a reason why this branch consistently lacks customers.
I really hope they will not rely on the name of Sotto Valetta and address the issues of freshness and quality to truly stand out in the competitive culinary...
