I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maggie's Restaurant in Sliema, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I stepped inside, the inviting atmosphere set the stage for a memorable meal. The restaurant exuded a charming ambiance with its tasteful decor and comfortable seating arrangements.

So where do I begin, we did not have a reservation and have heard of this restaurant (that is one of the best in malta). I was definitely underdressed for such a restaurant, but in spite of that, I felt like home. Compliments of the Chef for start, then wine recommendation, then recommendation of the meals, everything professional and high class for a very good price (considering the taste and service). We were able to get spontaneously a table for an hour and a half, so I was very pleased. To the food now, we had a small starter, like I said complements od the chef, then the carpaccio, then I had pork cheeks which were the best of pork I have ever had. My wife had a daily special, which was swardfish. I am not a dessert person, but my wife had a salted caramel desert. It is basically a lava cake like dessert. All in all, I warmly recommend it and will definitely come...

I love their patio, the restaurant itself is super cute and the service was fantastic although a tad slow as there was only one person working on the floor with 5 tables. The food was interesting and cooked very well, although I didn’t find it to be amazing. I believe that may simply be that they aren’t able to secure ingredients that are really good quality. So I do not blame the restaurant for this as you can tell that there is a lot of effort put into each dish and I did enjoy the food, just that it was not super memorable to me. They brought out complimentary chocolates that were absolutely delicious after I said that I did not want the complimentary shots that they have. Amazing service and I would definitely imagine this to be one of the best restaurants...
