Very disappointing. Knowing Mauritian cuisine, the food was not really fresh tasting. The fish was most likely Panga, and the server could not decide if the second dish was tuna or 'Capitaine'. In fact, it tasted like neither of these. The food looked more like day-before left-over, re-cooked into a Chop Suey and a curry. The shiitake and seaweed in the dish were tastier than the fish. Maybe, being the first clients for lunch ( it was just after 1 pm) and with the economic situation, they have to cut into expenses and make savings. Still, it does not serve the hungry client's appetite. From this experience, I would not recommend the place. A good Mauritian dish of the kind would at least have a chutney - tomato or coriander, but that was...

Then after checking with her colleague, the lady told us that we had to wait 1 hour until we could sit. In English: As a Swiss or generally as a European, one must say that we defy full prosperity and sometimes expect luxury everywhere in the world, but we all must start not to think like that. I don't understand the bad recession, it's just complaining on a level that doesn't really matter here in Mauritius. The food was delicious. Everything tasted fresh, and the food was served very hot. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I had fried noodles, and this portion cost me the equivalent of 4 euros. Please evaluate fairly and according to the circumstances. Thank you very much for the delicious and good food; I...
