The dining room at Noodle Square on a Tuesday lunch time was somewhat empty. I ordered the Chia Siwe Rice, fried noodles with vegetable and 2 Hakiens.
After a long 20 mins wait, food arrived. I cannot imagine the wait time if the restaurant were packed. The chia siwe was quite disappointing, to say the least, far from being at par with the traditional chia siwe standard. The hakien was greasy with a thick oily outside wrap, with the filling somewhat pathetic. I can certainly tell that these were fried in stale oil. On a positive note, the fried noodle was good, however, a tad too greasy and a tad too salty.
