Our quick trip to Port Louis took us to Shamping.Note that they do not serve cantonese food as in some other chinese restauranta but you will still have the Mauritian favs of f.rice, f.noodles or boiled ones. Their calamari under the par but the rest of our choices ( mine renversé, bol renversé and dumplings) were great and in decent amount.

I was there with two colleagues, for a casual lunch. The place is very cosy, clean and a warm welcome already had our positive feedback. I chose a veg fried rice noodles, while my colleagues went for fried rice, with chicken and eggs. We were all enthralled. Nice service, good food and a delicious Chinese sweet dish to complete everything.

The menu my wife and I ordered was excellent, very filling and delicious. We were there in January, and as you can imagine it was a very hot day. The only issue was that the Airconditioners were not working, and it felt quite hot inside...
