McDonald's — Restaurant in London

On the evening of the 15th Feb 2025' I made a purchase of three meals to take away.

Upon recieving my order after waiting 12 minutes' that then was just dumped on the counter' the staff member tried walking away rather than actually doing the job of making sure I had 3 straws, sufficient napkins, the correct amount/type of sauces I ordered and making sure I had a drinks holder for 3 large drinks.

Instead, I had to not only check my order' but, ask for the correct sauces even though it was on my order, ask for straws, ask for napkins, ask for a drinks holder, then... I had to put the drinks holder in the handled bag that I asked for myself, AND pack the bag. All whilst the staff member was off dealing with other orders.

Now come on McDonald's!!! Where's the customer service??? Where's the training for that staff member??? Why is managment for this branch in Baker Street not keeping on top of their staff's conduct and customer service???

Improvements must be implemented through management and/or floor staff at this branch as they DO NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

To the staff at Baker Street.. WORK ON YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!! DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY!! IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB' DO SOMETHING ELSE!! IT REALLY IS...

This McD's has been refurbished to the more casual style. There are four self service terminals (card only) and 4? till points when I visited there was only one open. It would have been too easy for one of the two manager looking characters to step in and open another till point to get the queue of 10pax moving. Place your order and you get an order number. Find are the days when you were offered a tray for eat in orders. This goes onto the Argos style screen and when your number moves from the preparation to the collection side you pickup and collect. There are few seats and some weird crate box step things aimed to sit anywhere and eat off your lap or the floor* (* if you sit on a lower level you could place your food on a level where others feet may be) um…sorry not my cup of tea. As for the consistency this branch is the same as with any other McDonald's. Factory (esque) Custom orders are made quickly

Tip: Make sure your oder is correct as I had two mistakes on a 5 item order. If you have chosen this McDonald's be prepared to wait and eat...

Couldn't finish the burger because it tasted bad. They also put your order number on the side of the screen 'ready to collect' but it's not. You get up from your seat, queue, expect to get you food, but you don't because it's not ready. Is there some incentive for them to lie that the food is ready when it's not? Macdonalds, stop that incentive because it's so off-putting making customers get up, expecting food, but there's no food. Now you don't know when it's going to be ready because they lied on the screen and won't reset it.

VERY LOUD TERRIBLE MUSIC. VERY LOUD. I'VE NOT BEEN IN A MCDONALD'S FOR OVER 2 MONTHS BECAUSE OF THE LOUD MUSIC.

Bad tasting burger I couldn't finish. Lying about when the food is ready.

Now the cleaner just started taking my stuff from the table while I'm still drinking my drink.

I wondered why it's almost empty at 6pm when it should be busy.

There's a KFC 100m away and there's queues outside. Locals seem to know what's good...
