"Wow" is the first word that comes to mind. A small shop just off the malecon and near the famous Luminiers park in La Paz, this is the perfect mix of french, and Spanish cooking serving the most decidant deserts and the freshest breakfast options in La Paz.
The menu will leave you wondering what to try first, with everything looking delicious. Intentional I am sure, to guarantee your return visit, for which we will surely be back.
The croissants would rival any patisserie on the street of Paris. I dare you to take just one bite.
The portions are large, and definitely don't leave you wanting. Not heavy though, perfect size to still enjoy a walk down to the malecon and enjoying the rest of your day, and soaking in the sun and warm breeze.
The aptly named Perfect Breakfast is the freshest toppings on a buttery, melt in your mouth croissant. I highly recommend.
This is a place that you can tell the owners CARE. The food is made with love for tourists and locals alike. You are welcomed as though you were coming home to visit relatives you haven't seen in years. Tres Amigos is not just ran as an establishment, rather a true love of the craft of hospitality.
This is a MUST eat at. I can not imagine anyone not agreeing with a 5...
Read moreThis is such a beautiful place, with a cheerful decor and a lovely vibe -- perfect for digital nomads, as well as those looking for a good meal or dessert. There are a lot of teas, infused waters, and frappe options. Even though this is called a dessert cafe (trust me, there are many desserts to choose from), you can get breakfast and lunch here, too. As others have mentioned, please get some treats to go! The couple who run the place (Agnes and Alan) are French and have lived all over the world, including a long stint in Los Angeles, so they have a strong background in customer service, as well as cooking and baking, as is evident by their attentive and...
Read moreWhen I travel, favoring local food is a rule because food is the most intimate experience of local culture. but there is one fundamental exception: real French pastries... and here is an outstanding and genuine French experience. Service is great, people are very nice ... all perfect : a little corner of France that is definitely worth the visit. ... and The 3 Amigos is open quite early in the morning, which helps a lot when jetlagged to ensure a soft...
