Atmosphere: When we first walked in, I wasn’t expecting the gravel floor—definitely a unique touch. Some people may find it charming and beachy, others might not be fans. If you're rocking new white shoes, do yourself a favor and go barefoot. The real showstopper here is the view: the beach just across the street makes for a beautiful, relaxing backdrop. Seating can be hit or miss depending on how crowded it is, as small trees might block the view. Overall, I’d rate the atmosphere a solid 4/5. I’m not entirely sure if the music was from the restaurant or a neighboring place, so I won’t comment too much on that.
Service: On both visits, the servers were clearly juggling a lot. We learned quickly to ask for everything we needed right away, or it might be a while before they circled back. That said, once the food arrived, it was well worth the wait.
Food & Drinks: I kept it simple with three tacos and a beer on both visits. My wife tried the grilled fish (which she thought was excellent) and the hamburger (which she loved). All of my tacos were delicious—the asada was a bit on the chewy side, but still flavorful. The real star, in my opinion, is the array of extras and toppings they provide for the tacos. That’s what elevated the meal.
Value: The prices are more than reasonable, especially when you factor in the beachside view, tasty food, and cheap beer. It’s hard to beat that combo.
Final Thoughts: This place is a laid-back, beachy spot with tasty food and great vibes. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait and maybe kick your shoes off. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a casual, delicious...
Read moreThis is a friendly restaurant with ice cold beer and top notch service.
I had the grilled fish, my wife had chicken mole, and we had flan for desert. My fish was served well done, and our flan ranked a distant 3rd of the three restaurants we had flan at in Loreto this week. The food did not have the family touch common at many other Loreto restaurants. We ranked this least of our restaurants visited this week.
It is hard not to do a 5 star review. Especially after the great service and cold beer we had. I highly recommend this restaurant as a place to have a beer and maybe some snacks. I recommend a bit of caution with the grilled fish and deserts.
I am hoping for this restaurant to get many future 5 star reviews. Just not for the meal I had on that day.

Read moreWe went for dinner. My wife had the garlic and butter shrimp, I had three tacos (shrimp, fish, beef). The shrimp came with rice and steamed vegetables. The tacos came with a large tray of condiments - green sauce, salsa, coleslaw and pico de gallo. The garlic shrimp was nothing special. The fish and shrimp tacos were battered but the condiments made them okay to good. Service was prompt but gruff. It was a nice view, but eating on the Malecón was surprisingly noisy. Gravel floors and open air tables. The flies were pesky. Kind of a dive bar vibe in a restaurant. Prices were low. (Each...
