An awesome specialty coffee café, the roasting machine is right in the middle of the café if you're ever interested to see or learn about coffee, Sergio and Gloria are always more than happy to share about their passions! They offer limited items on the menu, and I always requested a flat white with more foamy milk because that's my preference, and they prepare it perfectly every time - while using plant milk nonetheless (at my request too, they use dairy milk by default). It's delicious and you can really taste the coffee! They have cold brew which is also quite outstanding - it's sweet and flavorful, without the bitter and strong kick you'd normally expect. I also bought their coffee grounds to take home, I've prepared it with a typical coffee maker and a moka pot and it's delicious every time! These guys know what they're doing 🥰 I've tried a lot of other coffees around the world but really, their coffee is at the top of the list for me. I also love that they care about the coffee farmers they work with and source directly from them, so the success of the café is the success of the farmers, I guess that's where the name 'Gratitude' comes from ☺️ Don't miss this place if you...

Stepping into Gratitude Coffee Shop in La Paz was like discovering a hidden gem where the coffee flows like liquid gold. As Coffee Daddy, I've sipped my way through countless cortados, but here? Here, the cortado reached new heights, perfectly balanced, rich, and just downright heavenly.

But let’s not stop there. The savoury treats, especially the Venezuelan-style cachapas with chicken, were a revelation. My first encounter with this dish had me exclaiming, "Christ on a cross, this is good!" It was a culinary epiphany, wrapped up in the cozy ambiance of the most welcoming coffee shop on the block.

The souls behind the counter at Gratitude are the heart of the place, radiating warmth and, well, gratitude that fills the space with an undeniable charm. Their passion for serving amazing coffee and treats is matched only by their commitment to making every visitor feel like family.

Coffee Daddy’s verdict? Gratitude Coffee Shop is an absolute must-visit in La Paz. Whether it's the divine cortado that calls your name or the mouthwatering cachapas that beckon, you're in for a treat that transcends the ordinary. Five stars, no...

My partner and I were visiting from Vancouver Island and I was on the hunt for the perfect espresso which was proving hard to find in Mexico. Then we stumbled upon Gratitude Coffee makers and the perfect flat white presented itself. Gratitude Coffee has such a beautiful backstory and if you’re looking to invest in local small businesses while travelling, I couldn’t recommend this coffee shop enough, it is a must go even if you have to detour out of your way. There is so much passion and love that has gone into this coffee roasting business and you can’t help but leave there with a smile on your face. They truly are grateful coffee roasters.

Thank you for your stories and sharing your passion with us.

Sergio and Gloria are amazing coffee roasters and business owners! I’ve been buying their beans since the beginning and LOVE it. I really appreciate the fact that they are using only fair trade raw beans from other states and Mexican equipment making it 100% Mexican coffee that is not very known in the world yet. Their speciality coffee is of impeccable quality and I hope more cafe owners in La Paz can take advantage of having such a good quality beans to offer better coffee options. Stop by for a cup of nice flat white with a brownie or just get their freshly roasted beans for your home!
