LÍMO Heritage Kitchen at Suelo Sur — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

The night started off great with drinks at the bar—I would absolutely recommend coming just for drinks and not eating here! Then, we moved to our table and had a nice starter and all was going well until we ordered a bottle of wine, which turned into a 20 minute ordeal. Our server was taking quite a bit of time to come back with the bottle we ordered and when he finally came back, he informed us they didn’t have the bottle we wanted; completely understandable, it happens, so we asked to see the wine list again and pick something different. He didn’t come back quickly to take our new drink order, so we ended up asking another server. However, once again they didn’t have the bottle we asked for and after another 10 minutes our server came to offer us a different bottle. We asked the price, which he didn’t know, so he went to ask and proceeded to check on other tables instead. I completely understand we weren’t his only table, but after 20 minutes, I wish he would have had more urgency to take care of this. We finally had enough and asked for the check from the hostess and it was clear the whole staff realized the error, but our waiter never came back over to apologize and all we got was a simple “sorry” from the hostess on our way out. It was our anniversary, so it just sucked to have such bad service when the night started out so great. I wish our server would have at the very least came and...

I never really leave reviews but I just have to share our experience here. Límo and the Bar Buho are exceptional. I’ve dined at the other bigger-name restaurants in the area and this place exceeds them in every category. I am shocked that this isn’t a top recommendation on the Michelin guide yet. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I cannot recommend this place enough if you’re searching for atmosphere similar to Flora Farms and Acre but want something new, fresh, and innovative.

The atmosphere: top notch. It is a stunning property. Service: exceptional. The bartenders, hostesses, wait staff, etc. are all incredible. Amazing service all around. They have perfect recommendations but are never pushy/trying to upsell you. Drinks: amazing!!! The selection is fantastic and the quality is unmatched. Housemade and specialty mixers, bitters, syrups, etc. Food: The best part! Exceeds my experiences at other local top-rated restaurants. Could not recommend the food more. Amazing selection, fresh ingredients, unique and exciting combinations. Five stars all around.

If I could give a place 6 stars I would do so for this restaurant! Absolutely great experience from the time you arrive until you leave. The staff is attentive and engaged. You feel like a welcome and important guest. The setting is beautifully curated and so very chic and cool. The waitstaff was there for your drink order very quickly and the drinks arrived promptly. We never felt rushed but were never left waiting too long for anything. The food was delicious and presented artfully. We had a bread starter that was to die for. A salad course that was fresh from their own garden and dressed with a mustard vinaigrette that was just right. My main was a braised pork finished on the grill over grilled corn, Poblanos, Poole and jicama my wife had the mushroom main with a mole sauce under it. Both were exceptional. We finished with a molten chocolate cake with homemade vanilla/thyme ice cream that was also fabulous. All in all this was as good a dinner as we’ve had in a very long time. I...
