La Dolce San José del Cabo — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Our family was walking by the restaurant after visiting the art walk in the neighborhood, and we couldn’t help but notice that something smelled AMAZING. We realized it was La Dolce and it was a unanimous vote that that was where we were eating dinner. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the host made it work and we were able to sit down immediately! The back patio is really cute, and it’s super fun that it has a portion of the kitchen exposed to watch the chefs work on pizzas and other items. We tried the bruschetta and all agreed that is was delicious, but the stand out dishes of the night were the TAGLIATELLE PORCINI E GORGONZOLA and the Lasagna. My mother wasn’t a huge fan of the carbonara, but only because she felt the rosemary was overpowering the other flavors of the dish. We had inner at La Dolce last night and it was a terrible experience. The food was fine- when we got it. But, we arrived for our 7:30 reservation and our orders were taken but at 8:30 we had yet to get our salads or appetizers. We were not asked for or drink orders. When our dinners finally arrived close to 9pm, one of us did not get their dinner. They tried to say it wasn’t ordered. They then brought a menu so the guest could order dinner again, but by that time everyone else was almost finished with their entrees. No one ever came to see if everything was alright or if we needed anything (which we did). To top it off they did not offer to comp us dessert or reduce our bill to make up for their atrocious service. Never again will we go to this restaurant and I advise you not...

Yum-Yum-Yum. Just what I needed.

We were staying at the Royal Solaris all inclusive resort and the food was just plain bad.

As you can imagine we were craving delicious food for a few days up until we came across this La Dolce restaurant in San Jose del Cabo.

There were seven of us and all dishes were absolutely delicious.

If you want great Italian cuisine, you won’t be disappointed with this place.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They made fantastic recommendations and accommodated our dining needs.
