La Esquina Deli & Market — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

A delicious deli with a well-curated selection of groceries. The grocery selection is a mix of junk food and healthier, hard to find outside of the US options like Bob's red Mill flours and Kraft Mac n cheese boxes.

The sandwiches were good, in particular the Rockefeller. We also ordered a Reuben, which was filling though overall I'd say it's just a 3 star, mostly due to the underwhelming white sandwich bread used instead of a heartier rye. It was still good but I wouldn't order it again.

We also tried a couple of cookies that were both delicious and grabbed a detox juice and a handful of gringo groceries, to-go.

Prices match the quality. We came here twice for salads and sandwiches - very fresh and generous with their protein which I appreciate.

Took a calculated risk and ordered iced matcha (whole milk with honey). I was impressed by it - strong matcha flavor and very well mixed. I could tell when he took out the frother that I was in good hands. Most in town seemed to be watery and chunky but not this one....

Food is good, even when they didn’t have all the ingredients of what I ordered.

Service is quite bad, no one greets you when you come in and they all seem to be in a hurry, specially the cashier which is a bit annoying.

Prices are a bit high compared to other options. Sandwiches don’t come with a side of anything and portions are not vast at all.
