The Mantarraya Outpost — Hotel in Baja California Sur

We had a very nice stay at Mantarraya Outpost. B&B. The hotel is charming and hostess/proprietor Luisa is very welcoming. A great perk is that a homemade breakfast is included with your stay.||As for the rooms, they are cozy and relaxing. There are a couple of shared spaces including two patios, one at ground level and one rooftop for additional relaxing.||This place is in a great location, walking distance from the Malecon. There are many restaurants and coffee shops nearby.||A couple of need to know bits of information: there are no TVs in the rooms, but there is WiFi. Also there is a shortage of storage space in the rooms so your belongings will end up being scattered everywhere. A nice bonus is that Luisa offers beach supplies for borrowing, such as beach towels, chairs , umbrellas and coolers - this was a great benefit for beach visits.||I would definitely return to...

We stayed in April 2023. Luisa's place is an oasis of tranquility - Stunningly simple and low key -impeccably clean. The plunge pool was a dream to soak our feet after a hot day walking around , the white sheet curtains blowing in the wind make the place look beautiful and the lighting in the rooms is very tasteful with low level options - and oh the shower - hot water, good pressure and great smelling product. Most importantly however, Luisa extends a deep level of hospitality - she provides a wonderful home cooked breakfast and more importantly has a spiritual wisdom that inspires. Stay here if you are in LaPaz and have a coffee with Luisa - listen to her story -- she is a power of example of courage, kindness and can teach us all how to reboot and live from inner joy and happiness. You will leave feeling it...
