Macca Pasta Bar — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Food is amazing with great selection of pasta, good ambiance and detailed decorated, service however was poor, I had to find myself a table as there was no one to welcome me and wait for the waiter to notice me and deliver a menu asking “are you going to eat” really? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Then I had to tell that I had a reservation for 2 then he tells me “oh that’s inside” when I specifically booked an outside seating (which he never checked), he delivers menu and takes drinks order, drinks were delivered and placed in wrong order, he then delivers the food and place the food in wrong order again... he could have presented the drinks and food first and then we probably had to correct him but instead he just placed the drinks and food mumbling. We asked for extra bred that never came and never approached to check on table, instead we had to raise hands and look for him couple of times (there were only 2 tables that night) 😆 no recommendations were made from the menu, specialties nor dessert at the end. -The other table had to stand up and ask for the bill- Overall was good specially for the food and ambiance but I will think twice as I’d rather not to deal with service details that are basic for the type...

Truly a hidden gem, we enjoyed an extraordinary and intimate experience our amazing waiter Enrique provided us a 5-star service! The food was absolutely delightful, an abundance of flavors, portions were perfect for a large appetite, the drinks were on point! We enjoyed the house salad with the house vinaigrette, caprese tomatoes, linguini with arrabiata sauce and a personal pizza. Now, it's not Chicago pizza... because let's be honest, we are known for the pizza. However, you can personalize to your liking, the sauce needs some work....a bit more flavor but we still enjoyed the result. We HIGHLY recommend visiting, if you want an intimate dinner, you will not be disappointed! They also play house music, they had me when they played...

I have visited this fine eatery many times over vacations in SJDC in 2019,2020 and 2022.It improves with age.The food and presentation are well above average.The local patrons also present a friendly atmosphere and welcoming vibe for us visitors.The staff are awesome,owner Jorge,servers/barmen Enrique and Roman are very professional,friendly and you can tell that they like their jobs.I love coming here,it is a refreshing and very positive experience.It is my favorite restaurant in Los Cabos.And I am a man who loves to eat!Keep up the good...
