Bon Vivant — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

I think they might have a small kitchen. It’s fine dining. They asked us to wait for 30 min although the place wasn’t half full. The food took a long time to come out but the waiter (very young) did his best. The salad were excellent and amazing. The food was ok. They ask for how you want it, yet it doesn’t matter, it comes out medium-rare on the rare side for everything. They didn’t get the dessert right then pushed one on us and said it was the right one although it said Almond cake with figs and grapes, instead it was blackberry and strawberries. Rightfully, he did ask if we had any allergies from the beginning. I would likely not choose this place as my go to or...

This is a restaurant inside the Hyatt Ziba Los Cabos. Nice place, kind of fancy. Food was nicely presented but not very tasty. Service was very good. I came here on my own just to taste the shrimp termidor. It was my favorite restaurant, very nice setting for a date, white tablecloths, dim lights, beautiful decorations. I had to add my name to the wait list, they gave me a buzzer thingy and it took about 15 minutes. Once I was seated the place did not seem very busy. Not sure if they do not like seating single diners... I got that impression on one other...

This was our favorite restaurant in the whole resort. The food was absolutely incredible (I tried escargot for the first time ever, and I liked it!). The specialty drinks were fantastic as well!
