Miguel's Restaurant — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

After being recommended this place, we eagerly arrived hoping to experience a good local dining experience. The food took an hour to arrive, with no word, apologies, or update from the waiter who seemed to be wandering around slowly and aimlessly as there was only one other table seated, a party of 3. It seems that they forgot about our order somewhere, as when we asked, they rushed over saying it was being plated. It arrived shortly after, cold, and thrown together with little care for presentation. I do not recommend this place. Long waits happen, it's part of the industry... But this experience should...

Fantastic food, excellent service. We went 2 days in a row and everything was wonderful. The first visit, our group had the Beef Chile rellenos, enchiladas, tacos. The next day we went back and had the Chile rellenos again. The seafood dishes are amazing. Miguel is the owner and is very welcoming. He shared that his family is the key to the amazing food and service. This is our go to restaurant. We want to try every item...

Very basic. My BF and I had tortilla soup (good crunch to tortilla strips and flavor), shrimp enchiladas (decent but not super flavorful) and the fajitas (no sizzle). The rice would have been better if it was Mexican rice rather than bland white rice. The chicken and peppers needed more flavor. And the tortilla soup, while good flavor, was a bit thin; I think more cheese could have helped thicken it up. I don’t think...
