I love Omnia back home in Vegas and I wasn't surprised at all that their beach club in Los Cabos was fantastic as well...
Omnia service: We were hanging out in the 2 story villa and the service was fantastic. The bottle poppers were lovely and attentive throughout our visit. Our villa host was friendly and the whole staff has a personable vibe that made for a great time of day drinking. We ordered the seafood, taco and fruit plates. All plates were restaurant tasty and made with very fresh ingredients.
Omnia ambiance: What a gorgeous beach club! Very well designed not only functionally but visually appealing as well. Just the right amount of daybeds, cabanas and the pool is the perfect size in relation to the whole area. The spacing allows people to get around and there isn't a bad view at the day club.
Cash Cash was there at our visit and they definitely brought the party to Cabo. The DJs before their set played a good mix of dance music to chill out by the beach to. The area in front of the DJ booth becomes the main dance floor when it gets crowded. You'll probably won't want to walk through there when the headliners take the booth.
The staff seems to be a mix of Los Cabos locals and staff that re-located from Vegas. The formula seems to be working well as the service was excellent. The vibe was much more personable versus the Hakksan Group's massive Vegas pool party, Wet Republic. (which I also love) The location is away from downtown Cabo but it's definitely worth blocking off a day for a visit. Open up the credit card and enhance your Cabo vacation. See ya by the...
Read moreTip: Go to Blue Marlin Ibiza at ME Hotel instead, especially if you are staying in Cabo San Lucas. Beautiful location, prices are more reasonable, and staff is great. My sister and her friends were looking forward to going to Omnia for months for her Bachelorette Party. DJ Lucky Lou was the headliner and I had been in communication with several concierges on their chat website and on email to coordinate a Daybed, etc. 2 days before our trip I chatted with a concierge who said "We are open rain or shine." Hurricane Bud was forecasted to come that weekend, but there was not a drop of rain, and it was sunny and hot all weekend. We spent over $200 and 3 hours of our time with transportation from Cabo San Lucas to San Jose Del Cabo only to find out that Omnia was closed due to the Hurricane. There was no hurricane that day. I did not receive 1 e-mail about the cancellation. Looking back I'm glad we didn't go because the prices for Daybeds and Cabanas are ridiculous for Mexico, $1K and up and the location is way too far from Cabo San Lucas. We wanted to go there since it is the newest DayClub in Cabo, but it is definitely not the best. The Hakkasan Group is from Las Vegas and they try to make it like a stuffy, overpriced, Vegas Vibe instead of a warm, friendly, Mexico Vibe. If you are staying in Cabo San Lucas definitely go to Blue Marlin Ibiza at ME Hotel instead. It's at the old Nikki Beach. The location is beautiful, the staff is hospitable, warm, and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. When I go back to Cabo I definitely won't waste my time or...
Read moreThis place is a joke. We reserved a cabana for 10 people at $2500 a person and when we came to get checked in, we were treated like the gum off of the employees shoes. When you walk up to get checked in they did a thorough search of each person in the group. They confiscate over the counter medications, vitamins, water and even prescription medication for migraines. I’ve never experienced such scrutiny in any hotel back in Los Angeles or any major city, let alone Mexico. When we asked if we can go and buy water to drink our medication (in front of them), they said yes then when we walked away they proceeded to blacklist us for the day. When we spoke with management to rectify the situation, they stated that they’ll let us back in if we paid in full for the cabana which was now priced at $3300. This a dead zone with probably 5% occupancy not because of COVID precaution but because the service here is so bad that people don’t want to stay here. If you want to feel like a prisoner where they conduct cavity searches, be my guest and come here. If you want a decent time where you don’t feel your privacy is violated, stay far away. Omnia is only interested in making a quick buck. I wouldn’t put it past them to charge a ridiculous amount just so the employees can put extra change in...
