This was our second time eating here. The first time, about 18 months ago was good, but not particularly memorable. This time was phenomenal. First, the atmosphere is incredible. We chose to eat outside and the views of the pool, the beach, and the ocean were amazing. The perfect atmosphere to start with some specialty cocktails. Stacy enjoyed the lychee-tini cocktail and I loved the nacho margarita, an extremely spicy margarita. Our server Daniel was delightful. He was friendly, professional, and offered some excellent suggestions. His smile was contagious and he treated us like his only table. At Daniels suggestion we tried the queso fundido. This wasn't your typical queso and chips. It was prepared and served table side. A piping hot molcajete was brought to the table with three types of cheeses. The cheese was placed in the molcajete and melted. Flaming tequila was added (quite the show!) as well as local chorizo, corn, and roasted poblano peppers. It was served with tortilla chips, and both corn and flour tortillas. There were three different salsas that could have been added. This appetizer was huge and could have easily served four, but it was so good we finished it. Of course this made us reevaluate our dinner plans. Instead of ordering two separate entrees, we decide to split the sea bass. It was mild, moist, tender and flakey. It was served with sauteed vegetables and a spicy sweet potato puree. It was excellent. We decided to split the tamal chocolate. It was a small chocolate tamal served with mamay ice cream and vanilla sauce. While small, it was great for sharing after a huge meal.

I dined in for a taco Tuesday dinner on Dec 26th of 2023. The unlimited taco was for $49 USD / person, but taco isnt worth paying that much. I know hotel is generally more expensive, but even then, I feel it was overpriced. Nonetheless, there were many options for tacos, and the staff was friendly, even thought they were a bit too busy for the number of tables being served. With a drink & a bottle of water, tip & tax, it came out to be just over $150 USD. Great, ezpensive first night. I like their breakfast buffet, which offers free continental breakfast for gold status or higher, with just $15 USD addition ($13/person back in Dec 2022) for a full breakfast (allows you to get protein). Their menu selection is diverse, and they are fresh. The place is bright & warm with a great oceanview, and the servers are friendly. It can get busy between 8-10am, so make sure to go before or after that, so you can avoid waiting in line to get a table. Always ask for the patio table near the end if you want a quieter breakfast!

Looking for a breakfast spot and this was located inside of the hotel. They have continental breakfast or buffet. I decided to get the buffet breakfast which had a ton of choices. My girlfriend decided to get the continental breakfast and she was pleasantly happy with the stuff they provided. You can see from the pictures that there was plenty to choose from. I definitely got my $40 USD worth. And she was happy with the $24 continental lots to choose from fresh and yummy. We both left full. Oh by the way specialty coffee is an extra charge but I do recommend a double espresso.

This hotel is a scam. Stay at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal instead!

Beware of hidden fees. Try to catch it before you pay, otherwise bring it to the hotel GM. The breakfast buffet was $13/person for me & my guest with my Diamond status. The receipt said a 15% fee Service Charge was added. 15% is $1.95/person; however, I was charged $6. I got a refund only after speaking with the hotel GM. Not to mention the breakfast selection was very bad with little meat options. The next day we did the continental breakfast, which is supposed to be complimentary with my Diamond status. I was again charged $6 Service Charge. I'm not good at math, but I'm pretty sure 15% of $0 is $0...

They put me in a horrible room away from anything and facing literal piles of trash between another hotel. Extremely loud construction drilling noises that went on for at least half an hour- it scared us really bad and I videoed the entire situation for evidence. The front desk could hear it loud and clear over the phone when I called to complain, but nothing was done and we just...
