A deep disappointment for a Rosewood property. I’m unsure of current reviews are paid for or not. The ambiance is wonderful and that’s about it. We arrived to eat during low season a couple days ago. We sat at about 6:20pm for dinner. Our waiter came to take our order for appetizers & dinner.
Appetizers took 20 minutes to come out. The food was mediocre. Our waiter never came back until I summoned his attention 40 minutes later to ask where our main courses were. He thought we were on to dessert ordering which was the first problem in the service at this very high end resort. He came back and said the kitchen was backed up which was odd because we were third third table to arrive that evening -
Dinner we came out • 50 minutes after the appetizers upon my prompting only • My order of pad Thai with chicken BREAST where I requested breast meat only was served incorrectly. They made the dinner with dark meat. I had to summon the waiter again because he never came to check on the food. He insisted it was chicken breast - I let him know mine was wrong and it was dark meat - he said we don’t have chicken breast - I was bewildered at the conflicting statements. He took my plate because I could not eat what was there. He came back AFTER my group was done eating and said we can make you a chicken breast and it will take 8 minutes. I refused the order since everyone else was done eating and it has been over 1-hour after appetizers. Our waiter never came back - not even to drop the check, we had to request it and it took 15 minutes to arrive. Don’t waste $60-$120 per plate here. A Mexican taco cart in downtown San Jose has better service and food ~ we will never be back unfortunately and we come to Cabo 6x a year. * MANAGEMENT should be more involved with service, table timing and the kitchen. Processes are awful and it costs guests a lot of wasted money, a frustrating terrible experience and they are unapologetic. We were ignored after appetizers … like ghosts and they charge an...
Read moreI am absolutely blown away by Arbol...From the minute you walk up and when you sit down. The ambience is just gorgeous!!! I was lucky enough to get a last minute reservation for this spot. It's only a 10 min walked from where we were staying the Hilton Los Cabos. The service was amazing, our servers constantly refilled our waters, every time I got up and when I went to sit down they pulled my chair for me. The food was so freaking good and I have to say for appetizers the paneer tikka blew my mouth with its variety of flavors. Flavor explosion between the chutneys, yogurt, peppers and paneer. Yum yum and yummmm!!! Compliments to the Chef for this amazing dish. The samosa chaat was good too. The chicken makhani was very delicious, I love the curry and the chicken really was like better very tender. The rice pilaf complimented it nicely and I loved the papadam on the side. They also made sure 2 take care of my son and cater to him and his pickyness the dish he ordered came out just right. I'm so happy he enjoyed his meal. The dessert was the icing on the cake for me the presentation was fabulous as well as all the other dishes.
All in all 10 out of 10 for me. Not only do they have Indian they also have Asian, Seafood, Sushi and caviar. They have a very extensive menu and separate kitchens and they take food allergies very serious. They ask you when making the reservation as well as when you enter and when ordering.
They did a wonderful job and I highly recommend this spot when visiting cabo. Food was Phenomenal. Next time I will make sure to ask for a table near the...
Read moreAtmosphere and vibe is 100%. If you're looking for the best Instagram photos, this is the spot to visit. Impeccable environment, perfectly manicured sand gardens on the path in, beautiful reflective pools with tables recessed in them, live music in the distance. The views and look of the whole resturaunt is incredible, completely stunning. The food was mediocre for the price, presentation was amazing and it looked great on camera. Seafood here was lackluster, tasted frozen or imported which is surprising as we're right on the water. Still fresh and not bad, just not what I would expect at this price point here in Cabo. Service was alright, seemed like they were prioritizing larger parties which I really didn't appreciate. Also multiple dishes were served on plates that unintentionally spun like a lazy susan, embarrassing to eat off of at such an upscale resturaunt. Go here in the daytime or sunset, it's DARK at night and you won't get to appreciate the amazing landscaping and design. Some might find the dim lighting romantic, personally I want to see the people I'm dining with. Overall great experience and would recommend, just be aware that there's better seafood and sushi in LA or NYC especially at this...
