This coffee shop is on the second story of a building above a gift shop. It has a large glass window overlooking the street, some nice seats and wooden tables, plus bar seating. The staff are very friendly and easygoing, and ready to help!
My friend and I ordered a flat white with oat milk and a mocha blanco with whole milk. To be frank, I wasn’t extremely impressed with the espresso quality, and felt the drinks weren’t that well-balanced. The body of the drinks was very smooth, but the flavor profiles were off. I think the oat milk clashed on the flat white flavor, and the mocha blanco was too sweet, and the sweetness itself tasted artificial.
While the service and atmosphere were both good, I think the drinks were lacking—at least this go around. I’ll have to give this spot another chance in the future, and maybe try an americano and a latte variation.
Update: I came back recently and had to update my review. I think this place is better than I first thought. The brother and sister team that owns the place are really cool people, and the story behind the name is kind of interesting as well. It actually means opposite of kryptonite, Nokrypt, or a rearrangement of Krypton. I think the drinks receive a more thorough mix when served in the for-here cups, while in to-go versions the mix is different and flavorings/other elements sink...
