Tijuanazo Cacho — Restaurant in Baja California

Wow! This place exceeded any expectation I had. I had heard about this place from a co-worker and since it was only a couple blocks from my son's dentist we decided to stop by. I am so glad we did.

At first we weren't sure how the ordering process worked so we headed to a table and sat down. A few minutes later a lady came with cucumber, radishes and limes. She then asked for our order. We ordered suadero, adobada, carne and tripe tacos as well as a flour quesadilla. For drinks Jamaica and coke light. As soon as one type of taco was done they were delivered. The tacos were extremely hot. I am such an impatient person I couldn't wait so I decided to burn my hands and enjoy my scorching hot tacos. The suadero was excellent. The meat was in chunks rather than shredded. It was very tender and was amazingly flavored. The salsa on top was good but a little spicy. Luckily I like spicy so I didn't mind. The adobada was perfect. This is the first taco restaurant that put large pieces of cooked pineapple in the taco. When it first arrived I wasn't sure what to think and pulled it out but then I ate it by itself and I was in love. I left the rest in the taco because it paired perfectly with the meat. The sauce and topping were all wonderful. The carne was perfect, an ideal carne taco. The guacamole was exceptional, some of the best I've had. I personally didn't try the tripe. My husband ordered that and he like it but it was his least favorite. My son's quesadilla was a good size and loaded with cheese.

The prices are great and the service was good. The only downside was parking. There wasn't much nearby so we had to park a few blocks away. Definitely one of the better taco restaurants and I will be returning for more...

Llego y hay 3 meseros en la puerta, me preguntan 1ue si es para llevar les dije que no, que era para comer ahí, me siento, veo a los meseros platicando, no había mucha gente como otros días, 5 min esperando y nada, me paro y le pregunto a la cajera que si hay alguien que me pueda dar servicio, me dice en un momento le mando a alguien. Si en menos de un minuto me mando un mesero, le pido el menú y no lo tomo muy bien, me lo lleva de mala gana y lo medio avienta en la mesa, y se va, lo leo, le pido los tacos, un refresco, me trae el refresco golpenado la mesa tanto que hasta el se sorprendió, diciendo - ay! - ya me trae los tacos y todo lo demás fue sencillo, ni se si fue esa atención por que fui solo y les gusta atender a grupos, o pensaron que solo iba a pedir algo de gratis, (cosa que no tengo necesidad) o fue un momento de mala suerte, por que siempre me atienden muy bien, siempre voy solo, o incluso pido por uber eats, esta vez fue una excepción pero muy mal sabor de boca. Espero no se repita o perderán un cliente muy continuo que les consume bastante (para ser un solo comensal casi a diario) y sobre todo por la popularidad de mis reseñas en línea, que estoy dentro del 30% de leídos y vistos en maps (Google) y más de 6 millones de seguidores en redes sociales como creador de contenido. No trato de sentirme mejor que cualquier otra persona por ello, incluso no pienso que sea un valor agregado, creo el servicio es el mismo en cada caso, refiero a servicio de calidad. Espero en verdad que esta vez sea la excepción y no se vuelva a repetir, no haré mala publicidad pero no vuelvo a gastar mi dinero en un lugar donde no me dan mi lugar como cliente por que pedante nunca he sido, siempre dejo propinas, siempre cortes y atento....

Food is good but you definitely have to check to see you got the right order. Ordered a suadero burrito and got a carnitas burrito called, and they said it was what I ordered but just different meat because they switch their meats according to the worker on the phone each week is different meat!? Makes no sense but that's what I was told also, the suadero meat is redish and they always put pineapple on it which this meat that I got was no where near red nor did it have pineapple.
