La Corriente Cevichería + Nais — Restaurant in Baja California

This was our first visit to this location of La Corriente Cevicheria + Nais since we have in the past always gone to the location in Centro. The restaurant is located within a plaza that hosts other businesses including another busy restaurant so the parking lot, while convenient, can be filled quickly and parking difficult to find. The restaurant itself is good sized with two floors and the afternoon we visited they were busy but had ample staff on hand to take care of the diners. Today for lunch I ordered the Camarones Gratinados Al Chipotle which comes in a bread bowl (kind of a shrimp chowder). It was scrumptious - the chipotle was amazing and the shrimp was large, fresh and tasty. I think I’ve found a new favorite dish. We also ordered the Filete de Pescado “Sayulitas”. It was a filet of fish wrapped in plantain and served with house salsa and jasmine rice. The fish was also fresh and tasty although I preferred the chipotle shrimp. Drinks were refreshing and I recommend giving the Cucumber Martini a try. We will absolutely be back in the future and may make this one our regular stop because it’s located in a somewhat nicer area...

Este restaurante de mariscos es uno de los más buenos en Tijuana! Esta no es su primera sucursal, sin embargo, siguen manteniendo la calidad y buen sabor de sus platillos. Tienen una gran variedad de mariscos con platillos únicos que ellos han inventado a lo largo de los años, sus aguas frescas son increíbles. Te encontraras con cosas curiosas como el número de tostadas especiales del restaurante que han vendido y que con ello justifican su gran sabor y calidad. La localización del lugar es muy buena, esta en una zona central y segura, dentro de una plaza donde puedes encontrar fácilmente estacionamiento y dejar tu carro estacionado en un lugar seguro. El lugar por dentro es muy bonito, esta decorado con toques muy finos y tienen de segundo piso, hay una buena distancia entre las mesas y se prestan para adaptarse para personas discapacitadas. La velocidad del servicio es buena y los meseros son atentos. Los platillos van desde ser muy grandes para compartir hasta individuales como una tostada si no tienes mucha hambre o solo quieres comer algo pequeño. El restaurante por lo general esta más lleno durante los fines de semana, pero normalmente no encontraras una multitud muy grande y mucho menos espererás mucho tiempo por una mesa. No hay música en vivo en el restaurante, esto lo hace muy adecuado para poder platicar con la familia y amigos, cabe mencionar que el restaurante se presta para ir en grupos grandes. Es un lugar muy adecuado para todas las personas que disfruten comer mariscos, tienen un gran sabor, amplia variedad de platillos, excelente atención y un ambiente muy agradable! totalmente recomendado.

This seafood restaurant is one of the best in Tijuana! This is not their first branch, however, they still maintain the quality and good taste of their dishes. They have a great variety of seafood with unique dishes that they have invented over the years, their fresh waters are incredible. You will find curious things like the number of special toasts of the restaurant that we have sold and that justify its great taste and quality. The location of the place is very good, this is a central and safe area, inside a square where you can easily find a parking lot and leave your car parked in a safe place. The place inside is very nice, this decorated with very fine touches and have a second floor, there is a good distance between tables and is suitable for people with disabilities. The speed of the service is good and the waiters are attentive. The dishes are going to be very big to share up to people like toast if you are not very hungry or just want to eat something small. The restaurant usually is more crowded during the weekends, but normally we will not find a very large crowd let alone wait for a table for a long time. There is no live music in the restaurant, this is not very good to talk with family and friends, it can be said that the restaurant lends itself to large groups. It is a very suitable place for all people who enjoy eating seafood, they have a great taste, wide variety of dishes, excellent service and a very nice atmosphere! totally...

This is one of my favorite places to eat and I don’t even like seafood! My favorite are the red snapper tostadas. I have tried multiple things on the menu and I like just about everything. The food is layered with flavors, not over pungent. The decor is also interesting, and pleasing to the eye. Only negative thing is the prices are high.
