Tacos Menudo y Tupidos — Restaurant in Baja California

Great little Mexican restaurant. We went here on a Saturday for lunch. There was a little bit of a wait to sit inside so we decided to sit outside at the taco counter where there is enough sitting for about 8 people. It was a great experience. The ladies working the counter were helpful and fast. On to the food. I only had tacos but they were delicious! I had 3 of the 6 kinds that they offered. There mole was amazing & was the best. Very tender & great flavor. A must try. The chicarron taco was great also. It was marinated & on the softer side. Lastly, I had a carne asada taco. It was good but definitely try the other first as you can get a good carne asada at other places. Oh yeah, we had 2 beers & 5...

Got to the place around 9:20 on a Sunday, which is 20 mins after they opened. There was a wait already, and got seated after waiting for about 30 mins. We went primarily for menudo. When we were seated, we were told no more menudo. Uhm why? Not even an hour and no more menudo? And knowing that a lot of people go here for that, why not make an announcement or put a sign up front that there isn’t anymore? Or simply make a huge pot of menudo? I’ve only come to this place once in my whole entire life and the service is absolutely incredible. Food and service is fast even though my food arrived like 10 minutes after ordering, not too sure if the food was already made but either way it was delicious! The place itself is a bit tiny so, if you’re somewhat claustrophobic, definitely keep an eye on it.
