At first glance upon opening the room door I thought to myself wow these people had a really good photographer or Illusionist. The room was advertised on Priceline is being a double occupancy room I was under the impression along with other people I spoke with that double occupancy goes without saying meaning to beds just as a single room has one bed but a maximum of two people in a bed. The wifi signal in this hotel was substandard to say the very least. I found that downstairs the passwords are posted when you check in however when you go upstairs or to your towards your room there are signs posted along the walls with the WiFi passwords which would be a great convenience if they actually applied to the wireless that the hotel owns. Now if there was an update I would think that for a better service and less confusion to the guests that the signs should be updated. Now to address the sleeping situation with the beds... the bed frame itself set on a wooden box no together with 2x4's! So every time you rule over or sat on the bed it Woodcreek and sway not to mention the mattress itself was again substandard at best. For 35 bucks a night I'm expecting a lot more considering what you can get for 10 - 15 US dollars four blocks north of there if you're willing to deal with the hazards of traveling through the red light district. Granted I was pleased to find that they had a modern flat-screen TV that allowed me to hook up my laptop to the HDMI ports POINTS FOR YOU ON THAT! The downside is that there wasn't a remote control to go ahead and turn on the TV let alone change the channel. Ggood thing I had my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (Shameless Plug) so I could go ahead and use one of the remote programs to turn my TV on. Another thing that comes to mind is the only had one power outlet in the whole room which is on the side by the dresser and not by the bed so you had to plug your phone in or laptop in on the other side of the room from the bed or the bathroom take your pick. :-) if you're willing to forego those small minoot details or pet peeves of mine the service was actually quite good the staff was knowledgeable about where to go to get food how much to pay for it and if you happen to drive down like I did the parking is much smaller than you are led to believe the cards are stacked up on each other however there is some organization to it and you can get your car out even if it's the car parked in the furthest corner of that tiny garage you will get your car out. :-) all in all on a scale to 1 to 10 I have to give it a 5 if it's raining out and a 6 if its not raining out. But if you're ever in a jam and heating your room and you were partying way too much down on Revolution it's within walking distance and if you willing to foot the bill then this...
Read moreBiggest downfall is it’s NOT PET Friendly hotel as falsely advertised . Their in-house policy considers only Seeing Guide Animals as a disabled need. Therefore, you will incur same charge equal to room cost for each animal, PER night stay. Managements arguement was they follow state ordinance laws which consider you disabled based on appearance.
Hotel is Undergoing Renovation; I was placed right next door to the room being drilled with renovation. From 10am-5pm the drilling was consistent. They were removing 1930s tile from room adjacent. It was very unprofessional for my kid and I to be given this room at an evening checkin. There was no other option of room offered at the time of my evening arrival-City Noise Ordinance does not apply to management nor property.
Hotel is not a handicap friendly facility nor will management consider the need during your stay
Today I will have to move all my belongings to another room and I have a fractured back. Hence, I’m in process of international housing move therefore I have all my belongings in luggages and bins tied down on my vehicle. Very inconvenient and inconsiderate for a guest…. …Ended checking out. Not a comfort stay overall. Management confronted me about this review. He is a Young kid in his 20s with a coat learning hospitality as each day goes.
No AC. Only warm air blowing from an old broken down dusty unit. Management argued I did not request a room with a working ac unit at time of check in.
No Windows. Only windows lead to hallway but are screwed shut making the room hotter with no capacity to circulate fresh air in room-Following Safety Ordinances do not apply to management nor property.
COMPLIMENTS Hot/Cold Running Pressured Water non stop Exceptionally clean room at check in, Tip the ladies Cool Retro Vibe Has Potential Easy stair only access to garaged parking although not sufficient parking spaces for the amount of rooms. They ask for you car keys to move vehicle if need be
CHECK OUT Took me 4 hours to check out completely from property. We arrived as guests, 50s woman with child, in between an international state move. My suburban topped to the rooftop with tied down bins.
Due to the abrupt check out I had to hire someone from the street costing me 40 dollars to help load back bins/luggage and strap securely on rooftop. My intention of stay was for one month. Employee approached us as we are working on securing load on truck and told us we are there longer than what’s allowed and to hurry up. Complete disregard to the “guest”.

I had a serious medical emergency during my stay at this hotel, and the way it was handled was not only negligent but inhumane. Staff showed zero concern for my well-being and instead chose to gossip about my condition behind my back — completely unprofessional and unethical behavior.
Privacy is also not respected here. Staff walked into my room without knocking or warning — while I was undressed — violating basic standards of decency and personal rights. This is not just poor service; it’s a complete failure of hospitality.
The rooms are outdated, poorly maintained, and far below acceptable standards. But even worse is the culture: a lack of compassion, professionalism, and basic respect for human dignity.
If you’re considering staying here, ask yourself what you’d expect if you had an emergency or needed even a minimum level of decency. This hotel failed in every way that matters. I strongly advise against...
