This cafe is only accessible to resort guests, even if indicated otherwise by the staff at the entrance, the Google description and reviews. This rating is not a reflection of the quality of the coffee or pastries or coffee shop staff, but rather meant as a recommendation to hotel management to (1) improve the online messaging of the cafe, (2) train your house staff across all ranks on access policy, and also (3) improve communications internally within the team as well as how hospitality professionals should communicate. Staff at the car entrance indicated that we might park and go to the cafe, even going so far as to show us how to get there after parking while knowing we were not guests at this resort. However, the hotel staff at the main door, specifically Eli and Marcos, have room for improvement on how they approach and interact with potential patrons, kicking us out at the door within metres of the cafe without inquiring as to why we were there or other general forms of politeness one might expect from hospitality...
