Casa Del Mar — Restaurant in Cancún

I go out to eat a lot, like, a lot...and this is probably the worst restaurant I've ever experienced. I am staying at Cancun Plaza and there isn't a lot around here. I was here for 16 days and I gave this place 4 tries thinking it can't possibly be this bad so consistently. Well, it was. Breakfast isn't bad, the combo is okay. I had the worst excuse for a spaghetti bolognese ever. Watery, very little meat, precooked and overcooked pasta. Uninspired salads. They have a pizza oven that appears legit, but nope! Prepackaged crust that still turns out doughy. Also, pay attention to the menu prices. I was overcharged twice. I confronted them and got some "free" drinks out of it. The view can't be beat, however, but this place is just...phenomenally bad. Laughably...

I give this restaurant 0 stars. Very rude and disrespectful. I asked for a drink with no alcohol they brought me one with alcohol. Mr.Shuffles (we named him) the waiter came over and gave us a dirty look when i explained the drink was wrong. Pretends he didnt understand me. Left the alcoholic drink on the table the whole duration of our time we sat there. Food was ok. It was like we were treated differently because we dont speak spanish. How fuc'n racists. It wasn't busy at all, the restaurant staff about 8 of them, stood in a circle by the bar laughing and talking looking over at us while we waited 45 mins for a different drink, our food....our bill, or if we had a question. It was a erie experience. No...

I put 1 start because it is not possible to put 0. I don’t know where to start. The experience in just awful from A to Z. The nightmare starts at the gate, even before entering the place. The two security people are just in polite and disrespectful. They are mean with clients. They told me I could enter, but not with my luggage. Only option they gave me: leave it in the street (why? So that you can take it? Anyone can take it? I don’t get it). I guess I had to bribe them to solve everything, but sorry when we are clients of both hotel and restaurant, it is unacceptable.

I left an other review on the hotel and room itself. Also negative.

I recommend to avoid this place, at all cost....
