Fisherman’s is the seafood restaurant with a southern flair. Starting with the positives, Crown Salmon was a huge tender filet glazed with mango habanero sauce. Crab Chilpachole was smooth as the crab umami flavor was present & we enjoyed the crab roe. The rest of our meal left more to be desired. The Black Aguachile shrimp app tasted burnt & bland while Pescadillas were over fried with little filling & Fisherman’s Salad was too sour. Breaded Fish Fillet was akin to a kid’s meal. Lemon Soufflé was essentially their creamy jelly dessert with a little base. Despite reservation, it took a while to be seated but our waiter was helpful & attentive. The restroom is huge. The ice cold beer from the bar is a popular pick here.

Reservation required via QR Code at 8am in the morning. We arrived on time and were seated right away. My appetizer, Fish Ceviche, was probably the best dish of the night. Fish was very fresh and the combination with lime and cilantro was amazing. Then, we ordered crab soup and shrimp soup. Both were ok. For main dish, we ordered breaded fish and salmon. Grouper was good and went well with the sauce. I didn’t like the pairing with paprika. The grits came with salmon was melting in my mouth. So good. Overall, great dinner choice while staying at Crown Paradise Club, and would go back here; however, if I compare this to other restaurants outside of the resort, I can only give four stars.

Awesome place. I would definitely recommend. My only issue was that it was a little noisy with kids for an upscale restaurant that requires reservation only. The food awesome. The server was working his tail off and was genuinely focused on delivering great customer service along sub speed in execution. The general manager is lucky to have Ivan on his team. He deserves a promotion.

I thought it was pretty good. The food was OK, went with the pasta dish and was not impressed or disappointed it was just OK. For the appetizer I had the tuna tar tar which was excellent.

Some complaints. We were seated in a booth and the seats were too low to eat comfortably. Also the air conditioning was blowing directly on me so I was pretty chilly.

The kids loved the fish tank at...
